Hi Jules my heart goes out to you on Merlin. We all go through the guilts, second guessing if we did the right thing, if only. Merlin was truely loved for 20 yrs & I’m sure you wouldn’t have wanted him to suffer. You’ll get lots of support here. Forgive me if I lost something in your post but are yo...

Hi Dave Mia’s twitching tail seems to indicate she’s happy! Perhaps the retreating is a way of playing. Pebbles sometimes does the twitching tail when she sees me. Good news Hendrix’s ops happening this week. Keep us posted. Vivian

Hi Andy glad you were proactive with enquiring about Paul. Strangevthe owner hasn’t contacted you. And I’ve done hasty things when I’ve had a couple of vinos. Hoping there’s news of Paul soon. Perhaps he’s hiding somewhere. So worrying when you don’t know what’s happened. Keep us posted btw The Famo...

Hi Tysiana my Harper’s a tuxedo & a female. She’s a terror & rules it over my other four. As Lilith says watch Mika & if she starts “calling” keep her under lock & key!! Apparently another trait if they’re coming into season is that they rstart getting very affectionate. When I had Harper speyed the...

Hi Desley uuumm with the long-term fostering are you given any practical support? I’m fostering Pebbles but I have to provide food, flea/worm treatments. The only requisite is if she needs to see a vet I have to contact the president & if she says yes I go to the charity’s approved vet. LPs also has...

Re: Neighbours Cat - What to Do !!

Hi Andy in times like this my suggestion is to go with what “feels right” ie take notice of your inner voice or gut instinct. When I’ve been in situations & have gone against my gut instinct it’s gone pear shaped. On that note it wouldn’t be friendly if the owner took offence to your enquiry. She to...

Hi Andy I think it’s sweet of you to care for Paul. And reading between the lines he’s very fond of you!! I’m not impressed with the owner’s attitude. After calling in you’d think she’d have made an effort to track you down & thank you for looking after Paul. There’s the old saying ..”cats pick you!...

Hi Bean .. welcome to Cat Chat. I agree with Ruth’s comment. If the cat is injured an abscess can make him really sick unless treated. And the fact he’s ‘in tact’ he’ll be a target for other Toms & then there’s Feline Aids...I’d rescue both if you can.

Hi Tinkerbeth I’d be contacting a vet & taking a stool sample. Could be bacteria infection from mum. Better to be safe as kittens can go down very quickly, My Harper had to be treated for cocedia 2x.
