Re: Lost cat found??

I hope it gives her restored hope in finding her cats, I never imagined I would see my boy again, really it was only on a whim that I decided to have another look through found adverts. I always dreaded the worst purely because he's a black cat that went missing at night. I'll upload some pics short...

Re: Lost cat found??

Thank goodness there are kind hearted people like her out there, had it not have been for her Louis may never have made it particularly through another winter. we are so glad to have him home. The lady did say they were going to take him to the RSPCA if nobody came forward within the next couple of ...

Re: Lost cat found??

Most definitely! he's booked in at our vets for a check up tomorrow and hopefully they will be able to chip him then as well if he's not too thin. Poor little guy, it's ironic really I used to call him fat boy now he's a skinny little thing.

Re: Lost cat found??

well my other half has said that when he goes to see the cat, if he feels at all as though there is any possibility it is Louis he will bring him home and if it turned out not to be him it wouldnt be an issue, we have toyed with the idea of getting another cat before. I would just feel as though i h...

Re: Lost cat found??

Louis had no dental work or treatment other than neutering and we had no neighbours where we used to live it was set up a dirt track off the road :?
we had mostly fields behind us so even if he had been back i dont think anyone would have seen or know of him to realise. :|

Re: can my cat eat dog food

Ok, well looks like I'm back on the hunt for a decent cat food! :D The little rascal she does like to keep me on my toes. Not only is she a fussy eater but it's like she enjoys teasing me with it, pretending she likes a food for a few days and right when I think I've solved the problem she starts tu...

Re: curious cats

My cat Shadow has lots of little hiding places around the house i.e behind our sofas, the chairs under our dining table, behind the curtains she will sit in these little hiding places for ages waiting for an opportune moment to jump out and suprise our dog who is an absolute giant in comparison to h...

Re: Stolen Cat give to stranger. Last seen Hackney area London

So sorry about your lost kitty! What a awful thing for someone to do. I would go back to the charity shop and ask to put posters up in their window, let them know about the situation incase the cat was given to a regular customer of their's, also put posters up in the area chances are if the cat was...

Re: scratching at bedroom door-how to stop??

Hi, I'm no expert but if he has everything he needs i.e food, water, clean litter tray perhaps it's boredom or wanting to play? You could try having a selection of toys for him to play with which you use only when you shut him out of your room? Plonk a few odd ones on the floor and rotate them so it d...

Re: fur licking

Ok, thank you so much for your help! another cat is something to think about for the future for sure my heart says yes but my head says give it a bit longer. I'll buy a diffuser over the weekend and see how she gets on with that along with that hopefully it helps her to feel a bit more relaxed.

Re: fur licking

Ok brilliant, well I'm glad I've got the food right. It's actually chicken and salmon as this was her favourite with the iams biscuits, it's funny you should say that though as our dog is actually allergic to chicken! I'll have a look at getting a diffuser as well, and I share your opinions when it ...

Re: fur licking

Hi, thank you for your post Shadow is 1yr 3months old, I have thought about using the feliway plug in but I don't really have any experience using them and the reviews I've read seem quite mixed but perhaps it's worth a try if it makes her feel happier. As for food she has always been a fuss pot she...

fur licking

Hi I wondered if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having with my poor cat, she's about a year old now and recently has started to lick all the fur out from between her back legs. We have taken her to the vet who said it was most likely allergies and she was treated for fleas despite not havin...
