Re: Normal or Coincident

Georgia will lie down when I ask her, especially when it's snuggle time.

Back from cattery

I picked Georgia up today from the cattery. We were expecting to find an unhappy nervous little bundle excited to see her mummy but no, she wasn't a bit bothered. I got her home and picked her up for a cuddle. She smelled lovely. A combination of freshly laundered clothes and ladies perfume. She'd o...

Re: ADVICE NEEDED FOR OUTSIDE CAT

I'm sorry to say but I must agree with the rehoming suggestion. The cat will be so confused as to why he isn't allowed in any more. If they they are used to coming and going when they like it becomes the norm for them. It's more than likely that the other cat has found himself a new situation alread...

There's a supplement my neighbours use for their old girl called Pawbits joint support. They've had good results with it. I think you can order it off Amazon.

Tickle on the tum!

Does anybody else's cat love having their tum tickled. I only ask because Georgia loves it. She'll happily lay on the bed while I'm reading, legs splayed out in the most Un-ladylike position and have her belly rubbed. If I stop she will clasp my fingers with her front paws as if to say, 'no, don't s...

I can't really see you having any problems with it as long as its used sparingly, its fairly innocuous but as they say, cyclones are 'natural' too! :D Let us know how you go on with it.

Re: cbd oil

I don't know about CBD Oil being used on cats but I've been using it for my joints for about two years now and its brilliant. It tastes nutty and a bit strange but worth holding your nose for. I've also read that its good for hair and skin, but that's about humans. What does your vet think?

Re: Need a name!!

Hi Lois, lovely to meet you. What about Aristotle, or is that a bit too unusual. You could call him 'Harry' for short. I have a neighbour with a cat of same name and I thought it was brilliant. His other cat is called Tut as in Tutankhamun! :o

Re: Me pals in trouble!

I was a bit worried about Toby as I hadn't seen him for a couple of days after his adventure but he came into the garden today for his Dreamies and doesn't seem too fazed. Georgia was of course zedding on the bed zzzzzzzzz! :)

Me pals in trouble!

I've never noticed cats being particularly altruistic. They've always seemed a little me me me, unless its someone close to home such as a litter mate or their own young. Imagine my surprise when I got home tonight to find Georgie sitting at the top of the drive yowling her head of. At first I thoug...

Re: Cats and badgers

I'm so sorry for your terrible loss. I've never heard of a badger attack on a cat, although we have quite a few foxes around here and we keep Georgia in at night primarily to protect her from them. There are some enormous dog foxes in the area and she's only a little girl. Sending you hugs x

The chances are that the police will take one look at this and see that the cat is registered to you and tell that lot to grow up and stop wasting police time!

Snap crackle and pop

Well, here we are again, its fireworks time. Fortunately for us we have a cat who is so laid back she's horizontal, literally at the moment. Bonfire night and new years eve are a mild inconvenience for her. She might lift her head from the bed once or twice as if to say, 'mummy will you pleas tell t...

Re: Civil dispute over Cat ownership-any help or advice appreciated please!

Microchipping is proof of ownership. We adopted a 'blow in' cat called Yowlee. Once we found out he was microchipped we phoned the owners who told us they had given up hope of ever seeing him again as they had moved from the area eight months previously. Yowlee disappeared soon after, presumably to ...

Re: Is my cat beautiful?

I'd have to agree with my sister, (bobbys girl), I think your cat has got the prettiest eyes I've seen on a cat in some time. If the contest is being run by cat fans I think you'll be surprised at just who enters anyway. All kinds of cats will be in it, all shapes and sizes great and small. All ente...

Lick e lix!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. My sister bought Georgia some lick-e-lix treats. I've not seen them before so I opened one up and squeezed it slowly out for her. After she nearly devoured the packet and my fingers I threw the packet in the bin after which Georgia took it out of the bin. This we...
