Re: Runny eyes

I took her in last week, my vet said that as she had had a similar infection before that it may be herpes and could recur. He gave me fucithalmic eye drops to be given twice a day for at least 5 days (and beyond the period it appeared the eye had healed). He also gave her an anti inflammatory jab to...

Runny eyes

Hi there, another eye post. My cat's eye is running a bit today, it looked mostly watery but there was also a little "sleepy" stuff, just normal coloured. She's blinking a bit more than usual too. She doesn't seem to distressed by it though I just noticed her rubbing / cleaning it a bit. O...

Window screens

Hello, I have a nice portascreen for the sash windows in my current flat but am going to need something different for the normal, plastic double glazed windows in the place I'm moving to in a few weeks (to keep the cats off the road out the front). Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Cat Attract Litter

Thanks for the suggestions, I was desperate so ordered this one. It's very fine and seems to work ok and she likes it.... but it is brown which isn't ideal for a litter tray!

I will try some of the cheaper options above next time, thanks :)

Re: Cat Attract Litter

Unfortunately she is extremely picky about the litter box..... it is a fine clay type litter. Does anyone know of any other good clay litters?

Window Screens Advice

I'm about to move toa new flat with sash windows which open at the bottom half, one of which leads out on to a rickety balcony and main road, the other to high drop down to the basement level, so I was looking at getting some screens for them to keep the cat safe. I have found a few options online. ...

Brushing

It's that time of year when we all have to think about brushing! My cat had a medium length coat, fortunately it does not tangle or mat, but she is now shedding and there is hair everywhere and it can't be good for her insides! However, she HATES being brushed. I started off with a normal brush and ...
