Re: Older cat and kitten advice needed
Learned to live with, yeah I guess so, Fidget helps by squeaking a lot if she's getting quite annoyed by Buttons doing it and sometimes you can see Buttons start to creep up behind her so we distract his attention on to a toy or string to give Fidge time to move out of his way. I think you're doing ...

Re: Older cat and kitten advice needed
Our Buttons (male, neutered) does exactly this to Fidget (female, neutered). He would bite her neck, stand over her, pad his back legs but not actually be doing anything to her. Several times a day, we would have to tell him off. We got him neutered at about 6 months when he was literally dumped on ...

Re: very poorly old cat
Hi Paul It is never easy to see a loved friend go downhill. I think deep down you know what phonecall you may be making in the morning and that's the worse bit, ringing up to book the appointment. Don't worry about blubbing down the phone to the receptionist, they will have heard it hundreds of time...

Re: Cat returning to old house- please help!
What are the people like that live in your old house ? or maybe your old neighbours ? Has Basil got shelter down there ? Would the people be prepared to leave water, biscuits and food out for him if you supply the bowls and food etc ? It sounds like he's finding the hustle and bustle of the new hous...

Re: Lost Cat, Spennymoor (County Durham)
Have you contacted the animal rescue centres in your area and let them know he's still missing ? It might be an idea to go round the places and groups you've already been in touch with and contact them again to say he's still missing. Are you near a newsagents or local shop ? Pop a poster on their b...

The gang has a new toy to play with, providing it's been sprayed with cat nip first

Re: Cat health supplements
bobbys girl - Thanks for your kind words, he's an absolute sweetheart. I adore him to bits. Kay - I don't know if Bisolven would help as we don't see him poo in our garden, he tends to head off round the front or to the neighbours, oops. greenkitty - I think it's the Calici one he has. It rings a be...

Oh gosh sunnyme_123, (((hugs))) have a few hugs from me. It's awful when our babies are so ill and even worse on a weekend when you're been told to wait and see.

Cat health supplements
It's best to give you a full background of Ginger so you can know a little bit about him and help me work out what could be done to help him. Ginger is a ginger male cat of unknown age, older than say 5-6, more like 10+ we think. We don't know much about him, he's obviously been in a house at some p...
