Re: Cats Sharing Litter Tray
Sorry last post was supposed to say help, not hep! Yes I've tried next to each other, pretty much everywhere I can really in various combos! It's never been as much of a problem as it has been recently with her going around it. Just wish Daisy would use the clean one rather than the one that stinks o...

Re: how long left?
Has your little lady had her kittens? Did it all go ok for her and babies?

Cats Sharing Litter Tray
Hi, I've got two sisters I've had since babies, they'll be 12 in August. Daisy up until a few years ago did all her business outside but Rosie has always used a tray, coming in from outside to use it! With them now both using trays I always have at least 2 in my flat but for some reason keep using t...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Hi, posted months ago and thought an update was in order! Thankfully four out of the five cats were rehomed thanks to brilliant CP. She chose to keep the kitten :( I was informed by the nasty neighbour a few weeks ago that someone across the road had taken on the kitten as she didn't have time for h...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Yes there are quite a few four letter words I can think of too!! Cats seem to be disposable properly most definitely. I took in a pair of giant African land snails a few years back. After a goldfish a few years before. Really didn't have space for the snails and their tank, my two cats, a tropical t...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Thanks a lot for replies, think my sister starting to get a bit sick of me moaning about her and talking about these poor cats! Yes think I might have to call Cats Protection. Just to let them know about the situation and hope they can maybe persuade her to rehome the rest! I'm definitely not going ...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
A quick update about poor pussycat. 'Owner' returned I'm guessing last night as didn't see or hear from the cat all evening. Back crying at my window this morning so I went to knock the door and check before putting yet more food out. She wasn't a happy lady! Been in hosp since Thursday apparently f...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
So sorry Ruth B, had already started rambling! Very much doubt she's microchipped, am surprised she's not pregnant tbh but maybe learnt from last time! Fireworks going on behind me for the last hour and think frightened the little lady as not seen or heard her for the last hour. I live in a maisonet...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Yes definitely feeling a bit stuck! These kind of 'owners' really couldn't care less! She had a pair of tiny kittens that she let out and both hit by cars at 4months, then replaced by a lovely little girl that had 3/4 litters one after another. One day knocked and asked if I could look at her as lay...

Re: Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Sorry must add, RSPCA said they couldn't really help as cat not underweight/bad condition etc. Explained there's also a small kitten in the flat that's most likely not being fed as well as three others. I've seen two of them at the window when knocking so know they've probably gone without food for ...

Cat Shut Outside and Crying for Hours
Not sure if this in the right place! Looking for some advice as really not sure what to do!! I've had problems with my nasty neighbour in the past, have called the RSPCA twice about her previous cats (litter after litter and 3week old kittens crawling with fleas etc). She now has 5 cats, different a...

Re: Human Epilepsy and Cats
Think they've definitely got the ability to pick up on things we can't. Obviously I've only got the one cat but have read things in the past about others that have done similar. Very interesting stuff! Yes hopefully will have her another ten years or so :) she's brilliant as well as helpful! How hor...

Human Epilepsy and Cats
Hello, sounds like a strange topic!! I've got two 11 year old cat sisters. Daisy's a quite independent lady but still loves her cuddles and fuss. Then they'res Rosie, my shadow who likes to be as close as possible but will never sit or lay on me. On the bed all night and day with the odd stroll outs...

Re: Cat Eaten Too Much And Now Not Eating
Yes she doesn't appear to have had much out of the other bowls but have seen her at her 'usual' bowl a few times last night/this morn. She's eaten better this morning. Nearly eaten all of her breakfast but still no poo! Normally like clockwork in the morning! No rain yet but sure there will be soon ...

Re: Cat Eaten Too Much And Now Not Eating
Thanks for the reply. Yes it was dry food, will put an extra few bowls of water down and try and get her to drink more. Just very unlike her to miss meals, normally tries to polish off her sisters after hers! Doesn't seem to be anything else going on so sure she'll be back to her piggy self soon! Th...

Cat Eaten Too Much And Now Not Eating
Hi everyone, new to forum and looking for a bit of advice! I have two female cats, Rosie and Daisy, they're sisters who are 11 years old and I've had them since kittens. They both like their food but Daisy's a scoffer! Will eat her whole meal in one go but her sister will take a bit more time and ha...
