Sensitive stomach
Recently my feline sometimes vomits shortly after eating cat biscuits. And also poos in the house. Not sure if the two are related, but she is a fast eater. Gobbles it down, so not digesting properly? She is 8 years old, and was told some time ago when vomiting that she has a sensitive stomach when ...

Re: Cat started peeing on carpet
Hi and welcome. I would book your cat for a check up before October as there is obviously something causing this. Usually it’s either stress, illness or litter related . This link may be helpful: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/cat-toilet-spray-indoors He sits on a coconut doormat looking through...

Re: Personality Change in Cat
Hi rm17. Me too in rm17, so perhaps neighbors? I've had the same with one of my four cats. Best thing to do is ignore it. Let the cat do its own thing. Feed it as normal, but don't try to pet it or touch it. Act as if its not there. You will find the cat will find its own space. For whatever reason,...

Cat started peeing on carpet
Out of my four cats, I suspect the culprit? Three years ago, One of them came home 4am with face damaged. Eye hanging out, teeth knocked out, broken jaw. Rushed to emergency out-of-hours vet. Suspected car accident? Kept in for two days then released to my own vet. Was told could also have possible ...

Re: Moving house
You need to casually ask the neighbors if like cats? If not, then you could have a problem on your hands? Also, as cats wander, probs from other householders? When we got our first cat, wasn't any probs with neighbors. Then when the others came along, lots of agro from a guy across the road. Had to ...

That's the closest I can get. Too close and does a runner. An all black that was taken in as a stray by next door showing signs. But have to look careful. This one more friendly. But only just!!

Found in Wilko's, green packet, different types. Urinary tract or hairball. So which one to feed cats? Hairball so they don't get hairballs, or urinary tract to do whatever it does for the urinary tract? Was thinking of mixing the two together so they get the best of both worlds? Anyone else here Ul...

Changed my avatar to Tiger, who came to sit with my only other cat at the time, and didn't want to go away. Even after 10 nights holiday, there he was sitting outside the garden door on the patio early in the morning. Two years ago to this week, came home 4am with busted jaw, broken teeth, and an ey...

Re: Why is cat always hungry?
We have had the cat four years. Wasn't a rescue. One of my daughters got it while at uni, so had to bring it home with her when left. As for weight, all four have their yearly checks. This one like the others gained slightly at check last year. Difficult getting any of them to swallow a worming tabl...

Why is cat always hungry?
Out of the four cats, only one continually hungry. Wasn't always like this. Seems to have come on over the last six months? I feed him along with the others three times a day. Either a pouch or dry, whatever takes their fancy? But when he has finished, crys for more. I take no notice, but every half...

Haha, yes, probably drinking off his paws? But not all the time? Can always tell when done so by the dirt in the drinking bowl. However, what I find strange is that I have two bowls, both different shapes, and he always uses the same one??

Cat cleans paws in water
Out of the four I have, only one likes to clean his paws in the drinking water. Dips them in (front paws only) and licks them. So have to change their water several times a day. That's no prob. But why just one cat? My other two boys and one girl don't do it. However, I find it amusing to see him do...

Re: My cat keep bringing in Rats dead and alive.
My cats bring in birds, mice and frogs. Yes, frogs! Guy couple of doors away has frogs in his garden. So cats know where to get them. But like an earlier reply, try to get the frog/bird/mouse off them, and they run outside with whatever is in their mouth. Cats bringing home whatever livestock caught...

Vomits after eating
My feline, around 3 years old is starting to vomit soon after eating. At first, it was just now and again, not every day. Now its getting more regular. Although not every day every feed, its becoming a few days apart. Dry or wet food, makes no difference. At first we thought she must be overeating a...

Re: Cat had teeth removed 2 mths ago - old problem back
Yes, try what Kay said. About two years ago, one of my cats came home at 4am ( lucky the wife was up ) with his face smashed. Think car accident? Had to have a number of teeth out and broken jaw wired up. As well as loosing an eye! However, while his gums were healing and waiting for his jaw to set,...

Heard that a cat went missing from owner living in Tilbury, Essex. Dumped on owners drive dead and boiled some time later!! Apparently local gypsy's are using cats as fox bait? OK for my four, but what about owners who leave their cats out in all weathers? I have two cats coming round all the time crying for food. Re: Nightmare with stray Maine Coon
I had this problem with other cats coming into my kitchen and eating my cats food. So I got one of those cats flaps that works on a microchip or programmed disc on the cats collar. However, as three of my cats are fatter than they were when micro-chipped, the cat flap was not picking it up when pass...

Re: Identifying cat poo?
He didn't say they were coming in his garden at night only. My cats do roam in the road, so he was insinuating its my cats that poo in his garden, claiming seen them there? Not on the lawn, in the flower beds. And an old lady next door to him was complaining to him of cat poo in her garden also. But...

Re: can any microchip cat flaps keep a cat inside?
I got the Cat Mate Elite. Can be programmed any way you want. So can program it locked exit. Only problem I had was that because the three males were chipped when young, grew more body fat and fur that now prevents the chip from being read. So they have to have a programmable disc on their collar. H...

Having a constant problem with neighbor across the road cos cats pooing in his front garden As I have four cats, assumes it my cats. Re: Neighbors don't like cats
