Re: Lymph Nodes

Possible lymphoma but the other results in the blood would say otherwise. He was due in earlier this week but as he really bucked up and was having a good play and quite lively (first time in 3 months) we agreed to rearrange and let him have some happy time rather than take him and stress him out an...

Does anyone else's FIV cat have permanently enlarged lymph nodes? My boys are like eggs and every one throughout the body is enlarged :(

Re: 2 new cats. HELP

She sounds like she is very stressed and probably introducing a new kitten to an already overly stressed cat wasn't the best option. She needs time to adjust slowly and if she is not used to dogs, added to a house move, meeting new cats and then an additional kitten, she will be totally overwhelmed....

Re: Pain meds for FIV

Same with my boy. The initial vet totally dismissed him 'FIV, nothing to be done' - just like that. Very sad really. The new vet is very expensive also and I nearly had a heart attack when I got the bill last time LOL

Hi all My boy was recently diagnosed with FIV which was missed by initial vet for a long time (previously tested negative). Anyhow, moved vets who has been great with him but every lymph node is up and very enlarged. Blood was taken and the white blood cells are dangerously low, presumably working o...

Re: Pain meds for FIV

HI Thanks for your reply reply. Yes, this is the same thing I am thinking and I can’t help but think there is another medical problem causing this lethargy and pain, hence the move to another vet. He’s gone from being really active to not loving over a 3 monrh period. Had X-rays, blood tests done an...

Re: FIV CAT _ GROOMING A LOT !!

He is really over grooming at the moment and I can't seem to break it :( I have been putting some Vibromycin ge...

Pain meds for FIV

Hi all I have just found out my cat has fiv, bit of a blow as he is an indoor cat but looks like he got it when he was in the rescue 2 years ago so is in the 3rd stage now. I wondered if anyone's cat has similar symptoms as I am struggling to find anything online and the vet hasn't seen it. He is on...
