It sounds like his collapse was the reason for his fall rather than the fall being the reason for his collapse. He may have had a sudden heart attack or some other acute medical episode just as he was jumping up onto the dresser. In any event, I am sorry for your loss.

Try switching to oral. Credelio comes in tablet form and cats generally like the taste, so eat it as if it were a cat treat. I just chuck it on the floor and my cat gobbles it up.
