Re: Cat hissing after i stroked a visitor cat
I have fed and petted/picked up this adorable massive tom cat. He is part tabby and white. He loves being handled and belly stroked, so far Fry hasnt hissed since that time. So maybe there could be a companion if he doesn't belong to anyone, although he may be one of those cats who has many homes. A...

Re: Companion advice
I was thinking that, although the dynamic changed when Leela got ill. Fry started becoming more confident and staying around for strokes. Leela used to be the get on my bed for strokes, then her condition made her lethargic and so on. So Fry started getting on and still does. Although her new cat be...

Companion advice
Hello there all I have a 9 year old [ish] cat who is timid and wary, but very affectionate to myself and my son. She has taken more of a shine to me, lap sitting wise. She was part of a duo, her Sister had diabetes and asthma hence didn't work trying to medicate both :( Anyway not sure if she might ...

Anyway she is timid, like that when we got them at 7 months. She is affectionate and trusting now, bar the wariness. However we have visiting cats...

Re: Cat hissing after i stroked a visitor cat
Yeah the other cat rubbed his head against my leg, hes a big softie. Not sure if he belongs to someone, he is my garden A LOT. Maybe due to knowing im a sucker or hes attached. With Fry being hissy and him being greedy..Not a good idea for an unneutered cat to come in. Shes been fine since, usual se...

Re: I'm losing beloved Gandhi
Fry is able to sit on my lap and get all the attention now, her and her sister never sat on the same place after they grew up. Fry spends alot of time on her fav spots and comes down for cuddles and treats etc. She doesn't like going outside if visitor cats are there, even if its the laid back dude ...

Re: I'm losing beloved Gandhi
Thank you sweets
in my lifetime I've lost 4 cats. Was thinking of getting a friend for Fry, but maybe she prefers being alone now.
