Re: Heart Murmur - looking for reassurance please!
Thank you for your replies, they did make me feel better. My cat has seen the cardiologist now and he said it was the best possible outcome. Will be taking her back in 6 months for another check up. I am so relieved!

Heart Murmur - looking for reassurance please!
My cat will be 10 in April and was diagnosed with a heart murmur at her yearly check up yesterday. The vet said it was very common, and didn't seem to be too concerned because my cat is fine otherwise. I think she could see how anxious I was, and as I have insurance, she referred my cat to a cardiol...

Re: Air Freshener advice
@loobs, Do you use open litter tray or do you have a closed one? I found out that covered trays are very good at containing smells, provided that they are regularly cleaned and every, say, 15 days you give them a good wash. They also have active carbon filters that need to be replaced about every 2...

I came across them too and decided to give it a go. It hasn't worked I'm afraid!Kay wrote:I recently decided to give up conventional air fresheners for the same reasons as you, and research led me to Citrus Magic products
I have a solid block one on a shelf above the litter tray and it really works

Air Freshener advice
I have been owned by indoor cats for the past ten years and obviously I am well used to dealing with litter trays. When either of my cats does a number 2, I clean it up straight away. Sometimes when I've been out I come home to a very smelly house. This is all part and parcel of being a pet owner, a...

Re: Cat hates my new rug!
Funnily enough, she is the bolder out of the two of them! She's never reacted to anything like this before. I sat in the middle of the rug and enticed her over with dreamies and she stayed for a wee bit while I petted her but she's off again now. My other cat is having a whale of a time chasing her ...

Cat hates my new rug!
I have two indoor cats, both are 7 years old. I have laminate flooring in the living room and kitchen and carpet in the bedroom and hall. Yesterday I bought a big fluffy rug for my living room. It is massive and takes up most of the floor space. Anyway, one cat absolutely loves it. My other cat will...
