Re: Introducing myself - and our cat Tink

Thank you for the welcome, Mollycat and Ruth. I hope I will have something to contribute. Yes, the forums do seem rather quiet these days and a number of the old regular posters (like Lilith) seem to have disappeared. Tink certainly does seem rather like your 15 year old who was mistaken for a five ...

Introducing myself - and our cat Tink

Hello, I've lurked here for a long time and thought I should finally introduce myself. I did register a while ago so I could try to offer help with a cat in need local to me who was advertised on the forums. We now have only one cat, Tink, who is small and black and still very athletic at over 13 (s...

P.S. The link https://biaza.org.uk/news/detail/yourzoosneedyou-? will not work without the final -? which seems to be missed when the link is clicked on directly; to go to the BIAZA webpage please copy the text of the link and paste it in to your browser. Thanks.

Urgent; animal sanctuaries and animal welfare organisations must be allowed to open to the public or we will lose them!

I am sure everyone connected with this forum is an animal lover and will be concerned about the potential disaster that the government is creating by refusing to let animal sanctuaries, zoos and so on open to the public, in many cases indefinitely, even though the public can now flock to beaches and...

Re: Advice on bringing cats from eu to uk

Good for you for trying to help these poor cats. These people on Syros may well have some good advice as they regularly have cats adopted from Greece (which has a terrible stray cat problem) but they have found some problems with getting cats to Britain: https://www.facebook.com/godslittlepeople/ Go...

Re: Home needed for Poppy Long haired Tabby Northants but will travel anywhere

Hi Julie, Thanks for your reply. It's good that you have a place at Animals In Need for Poppy next Saturday, as finding places for older cats at places like that is very difficult. We were concerned that she was going to be PTS next week if nothing had been found for her and were not otherwise looki...

Re: Home needed for Poppy Long haired Tabby Northants but will travel anywhere

I've been lurking on the CatChat forum for some years, reading posts. I was prompted to register now because of this poor cat's situation as we are in Warwickshire, not so far away from Northants, and are concerned about this cat's fate as we may possibly be able to do something about it. Have you m...
