I think it is happening because of hard stools. Look at the food of your cat. Maybe something is wrong with food.

I prefer anti-diarrheal medications but you shouldn't try any of them without veterinary supervision. I give my cats boiled chicken and boiled rice as a home remedy in such situations as well. You should also increase the water intake and if your cat doesn't drink enough water then give her chicken ...

In my opinion, the reason for her behaviour is sickness. Cats usually start hiding from owners when they have an injury or feel sickness.
