Re: Diarrhoea and blood in faeces
My old boy had colitis when he was younger. He was dumped near our house when his owner left the country and very slowly came to choose us to be his family. When he started eating cat food he was on whiskers or felix and his delicate stomach simply couldn't tolerate it; whether that was because he h...

Re: Problem with new kitten
Hello If your cat is struggling to pee and has blood in their poop I would recommend a vet visit. Is kitty eating well and having wet food? I would rule out anything medical and then consider the inappropriate toileting advice on the cat chat website for some ides, https://www.catchat.org/index.php/...

Re: Willow not eating - any ideas?
I have found that heating the food up helps my old man; it certainly makes it smellier and he seems more likely to eat when the smell is really strong.
I hope you find something she likes soon.

Re: Temp Home Needed Please!
Hello I am sorry you are having problems with your neighbours and their cats. Would it be possible to have a catio for your cats; so that they can go outside but be safe from neighbours cats and consequently the neighbours? They could then go out of a window or cat flap into the catio without you ne...

Re: Rescuing 6 kittens
Well done for taking these kittens in and helping to raise awareness around feral cats.
Please make sure that they are neutered as soon as they can be so that they don't end up in the same situation as their mother.

Re: Adopted Cat Advice
Hello I wonder if he is just a one person cat and saw you as a visitor who took attention away from him. One of my cats, Tigger, really didn't like anyone but me and would attack visitors to the house - he would lie in wait for them under the sofa and bite their ankles as soon as they sat down. The ...

Re: FIV POSITIVE CAT VOMITING
Hi I have no experience of FIV cats; and I hope one of the other members who does is along soon to give you more advice. What I do have experience of is a cat who is sometimes sick after eating, with it not being attributed to one food or treat or a hairball. My lad hasn't been sick for months and m...

Re: Bungled cat rescue - advice needed please
Hello Tina I hope that he has at least shown you that he is safe again last night, although he may not want to trust you for a while; if only we could explain that it is for their own good!? When our neighbours moved their cat kept returning as they had only moved a few streets away and his old home...

Re: Help or advice needed urgently!
You could try the Cinnamon Trust; Tel. 01736 757900 or visit: www.cinnamon.org.uk; they may be able to find a volunteer who can come in and help with trays. Would it be possible to ask a neighbour if it is just for the litter tray? I have a back problem and can't bend, so my cat is fed on a raised b...
