Re: Allergic Cat Help

Good responses here, I actually came onto the forum to post about this today so grea to see a topic right up there. Going to try some Omega 3.

The food I use does have Omega 3 and 6 listed but I am guessing a supplement on top would be better.

Alfie

Bit low this evening. It's been four days since my gorgeous handsome 8 yr old Ragdoll cat died very suddenly and unexpectedly. Still cannot quite believe he has gone. Popping in to see his previous vet on Monday who is very sensible. He hadn't seen Alfie but another vet had seen him the week before ...

Re: Sudden death in cats

Thank you all for your kind words. Been reading more and more about HCM and the more I read, the more convinced I am that this is what it was. I know breeders screen for this now but when my parents got Alfie it was all still a new test and some breeders tested and others did not. Alfie's breeder no...

Sudden death in cats

Hello all, Hoping for some....I don't know what actually. Advice? Information? My beautiful 8 yr old Ragdoll cat Alfie collapsed and died very suddenly last night. He had been cuddled up to me and purring (he was a really affectionate Mummy's boy) and I literally went upstairs for 10 mins to sort so...

Re: Please help...and at the end of my tether.

Thank you for replying....I really do not want to give up on my boy as he is gorgeous. His history is that my parents bought him from a breeder with a litter mate. The litter mate sadly died from an inherited heart condition at 19 weeks but seven years on my boy is fine. He was neutered within the f...

Please help...and at the end of my tether.

Feeling really quite negative at the moment about one of my cats. I have three cats, two are rescues and I have no issues with them. The one I have problems with is the pampered Ragdoll boy who is just a nightmare with regard to weeing everywhere. History is that he was my parents cat and they had s...

Was the breeder unreasonable?

I won't name the breeder or the name of her business but wondered what other breeders thought. My Mum recently had a significant birthday and being cat mad decided she would like a Burmese kitten. Her family were happy to raise the money for this as we know she is an experienced cat owner and loves ...

Droosie

My beautiful Droosie was taken in a road accident in 21st June, am utterly heartbroken. She was just such a special cat, loads of personality. The hardest thing is returning home each lunchtime and pulling into the drive. This was her cue for leaping over the back gate and running to greet me. Every...
