Thank you Janey, I will have a look on the link. I am trying to get the cat rehomed through the proper processes which is why I tried the cat protection people and the RSPCA. I have a rescue dog and rabbit myself but can't take the cat as my daft border collie would almost certainly on have one eye ...

Hi,

She bites if she is being stroked or not being stroked and this is when she has approached you.

She doesn't 'nip' she bites hard enough to draw blood.

She was a rescue cat and arrived with issues and looks to me like she wasn't socialised at a young age.

Thanks for your advice. I will try the sites you have suggested. The problem we have is that she does have a tendency to bite my mum for no apparent reason (before I get 36 replies saying to make sure it isn't a health issue she has been checked by a vet regularly and is in good health).
