Good luck from E&G. Rescue remedy is brilliant ..... Few drops on top of Denver's head between his ears might help to keep him calm. Helen, Some drops on your tongue wouldn't hurt you either. I use Rescue Remedy most days for Georgie and for me when I'm stressed at work.
Safe journey!

Re: Poor Dave

Hi What a lovely forever home Dave is going to have. I'm a true believer in the 'higher authority' and Dave did come to you at the right time. I feel that cats are very spiritual and I know for sure Eric and George pick up on my moods. When I'm in my dark place, they just touch my soul with their sw...

Re: One of THOSE days!

Kitties mom. Exactly the same thing happened to me but not in my Ugg boots...they were my very staid Clarkes suede boots. Went to put them on one morning and thought perhaps the suede had got wet the last time I'd worn them as the boots stunk. Didn't think of looking in the boot ;) Put them outside ...

Yes it does. Very occasionally I forget to put it on and wonder why I get that awful feeling that my head is going to explode! I don't know about you but before a flush I get a horrible feeling of blood pounding my ears :? It's always worked for me..... But I don't always wear it at night because I'...

Hi Jackie I've been going through it for years....my night sweats aren't as bad but I still wake up every hour or so with a hot back! About 7 years ago I was recommended to buy a magnet called Magnopulse which is two small magnets that you put on the front of your underwear (just below your belly bu...

Know exactly the type of day you're having.....I do sympathise. Re: advice on food please.

DaBird is fabulous for playtime. If you can, Google Jackson Galaxy who is the ultimate Cat Whisperer (his tv series Cat Frm Hell is great....when it's on; for some reason Animal Planet never show a full series) but I think he introduced DaBird. It's lovely that you were able to give Theo a forever h...

Re: Cat scratching himself until he bleeds

Vet phoned back at 3. She'd been through Georgie's notes and said that she really does think he's allergic to something in the garden and told me to buy Piriton not a genetic anti histamine. The only other thing I've wondered about but forgot to ask the vet is that we've changed their dry food to Sc...

Re: Cat scratching himself until he bleeds

Jan, oh my goodness....your posts are similar to my situation with my Georgie. He's a nervous boy who's been a licker and a scratcher for sometime now. I've just added a picture although it's not that clear, of where he's drawn blood around his eye. We've tried cortisone cream and tea tree cream but...

Re: My cat proofing is not KITTEN PROOF

Just bought another bottle of Rescue Remedy, anti-histamine and tea-tree paste all for Georgie, all on the advice of the vet and the lovely lady at PAH. Anti-histamine is because Georgie scratches all the time and keeps cutting around his eye. The vet said he might be allergic to something in the ga...

Hi Carol Ah that is so sweet that you dreamt about Georgie .... Poor boy is a nervous wreck. Remember last time you suggested Rescue Remedy for G? What a life saver! Jackie, a squirt of water is no deterrent to the kitten. Been there, done it, have the t-shirt "kitten not afraid of water or E&a...
