Re: Duvet problems

My first very nervous kitten would do this and it drove me mad! First of all, i would say, invest in a waterproof cover for your duvet.. cheaper than a new duvet. Even now as I pass a certain launderette near me, memories of spending time in there, washing the duvet once again ,, make me feel uneasy...

Re: Cat Litter Issues

Silica ones,, ugh no.
We used Sophisticat gold too, and found it good but couldn't get it locally. Tescos also do Natural and Clean clumping litter which they claim has no fragrance. It clumps well and is not heavy to carry home,,,,

Re: Cat flap woes

try taking off the magnet strip ( if a simple cat flat) so that it is easy to open or prop it open until he gets used to it. giving him treats through the flap can help too. Took my previous rescued cat 6 months before she would even try to use it... time and patience..

most people recommend 3 trays for 2 cats. One each and one spare! hope your little new cat settles in quickly.

Re: Is a stray cat ok to give to an elderly person?

I got a lovely gentle loving cat from a rescue for my nearly 90 year old mother in law. she loved him and he made such a difference to her life . she managed to look after him, just, but didn't realise that when he wasn't eating that was because he was ill. she only had him 4 months before he was di...

Re: Heart murmur diagnosed, yesterday. I am FREAKING OUT!

My cat of ~ 4 + years was diagnosed with a 'massive' heart murmur this week. I had taken her to the vet as she wasn't quite her normal lively self and not eating a lot ( or using the litter tray much either) she had been checked in July for her normal annual jabs, otherwise she has never had any pro...
