Oh, poor little chap. And poor you, Julie having to see him like this. I really hope and pray all will be well with Barney. I feel very sad for you and I know how worried you must be.
Thinking about you and yours,

Re: Please can someone help me to help my boy - toilet issue
Personally, I don't think cats like cat flaps. When a cat is let out, he usually sits on the doorstep to see who's about (other cats, dogs etc) but with a flap, unless it is a see through one, Charlie will be wary of using it if he's never used one before. He thinks an enemy may be about, ready to p...

Re: Cat fight!
Poor old Ted. I hope his eye is not to badly hurt. My Dave had a nasty fight last week and he was very quiet afterwards. He slept through the rest of the afternoon and into next morning but was right as rain afterwards. I think that cats mostly fight over territorial issues now most are neutered. If...

Re: BARNEY BEEN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL IN EMERGENCY AN UPDATE
Dear Julie, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Even though one expects it, it is still a shock. I know that is how it was when my mum died of multi infarction dementia in 2006. But...how wonderful that Barney perked up like that...and how strange. I always believe that there is a reason for the...

Re: Vicious Cat Fight
I haven't seen that little cat since, Crewella. I think that attack by Dave was the final straw. Poor little thing must've been scared stiff when confronted by Dave and then set upon like that. I did put a notice in 'Streetlife' to see if she belonged to anyone local, but no answers as yet. Anyway, ...

Big, Black Cat....possible stray. Norwich NR2
Lately, a big, black cat has been hanging around the back of my house. Every time I go to put food out for foxes, hedgehogs etc, this cat is on the food immediately. He seems to have sussed what time I go out to put the food down. He may NOT be a stray at all. But I would be happier to know one way ...

Re: bloody nose?
My sister had a cat who had similar symptoms. Sometimes, when he sneezed there was specks of blood. I think a visit to your vet may be a good idea. It could be a little polyps inside his nose.
I hope you get it sorted, Joanne. Let's know how Teds goes on.

Hi Hannah. Just seen your post and I am so very sorry for the loss of your mum and Jasper. I hope that by now the pain is beginning to lessen a little bit for you. Re: Renal Food Recommendations
My late Oscar died of renal failure in 2012 and I am wondering how it can be prevented. What foods/brands to avoid and what's best for them to eat. I don't want Dave to go the same way as Oscer did IF it can be prevented.

It's a smart looking litter tray for sure but, looking at the price I think Dave will have to stick with his basic ones.

Hi Charlie-Barbara. That must be a terrible dilemma for you. I don't know what to suggest except a cat behaviourist really. However, I looked on line and found this article which may prove helpful. Well, after his adventures yesterday and the Cat Fight At The OK Courtyard, Dave spent a comfortable night curled up on end of my bed. At about 05:30 this morning, I was woken up by meowing and Dave insisting on getting under the duvet with me for a cuddle. :) He was happy to stay there til I got up...

Re: Vicious Cat Fight
I've just been upstairs to check on Dave after his scrap and there's some specks of blood on the quilt cover. He looks miserable and won't allow me to touch him. When I try, he grumbles at me. He has eaten since the fight but now I think reaction has set in. I am now very concerned. What shall I do....
