Lately, a big, black cat has been hanging around the back of my house. Every time I go to put food out for foxes, hedgehogs etc, this cat is on the food immediately. He seems to have sussed what time I go out to put the food down. He may NOT be a stray at all. But I would be happier to know one way ...

My sister had a cat who had similar symptoms. Sometimes, when he sneezed there was specks of blood. I think a visit to your vet may be a good idea. It could be a little polyps inside his nose.
