Re: Pancreatitis - very worried
Thank you. She seems a little better today so keeping my fingers crossed she is on the mend. I'm fairly certain it was the food, it seems odd that she stopped being sick as soon as I took her food away. She has managed chicken, fish and a little Whiskers over the weekend and no more vomiting. She ha...

Re: Bad reaction to Advocate ?
My vets changed Bella's flea and worming treatment suddenly earlier this year. They said it was due to issues getting the usual one overseas but they have assured me it has the same ingredients in, just a different name. I'm not so sure as Bella goes darting around the house and sulks for hours afte...

Re: Pancreatitis - very worried
I have just been scrolling through this site and stumbled across a thread regarding Felix cat food making cats sick. Bella eats the "doubly delicious fish selection" - could this be the cause??

Pancreatitis - very worried
Hi everyone, My 8 year old cat suddenly started vomiting on Wednesday night. She would eat, then seconds later throw it all back up again. The vomiting got worse into Thursday (I woke up to mounds of sick all over my house) so contacted my vets who squeezed her in later that day. I went to work that...

Re: Cone after dental surgery
Hi, My cat had 14 teeth removed earlier this week and she wasnt sent home with a cone. How strange! As previously mentioned, it could be to stop her pawing at her mouth, my cat did this upon first coming home but stopped by the next day. I think it feels more strange to them than anything. Definitel...

Re: Post op behaviour
Hi all! Well, Bella woke me up at 6am this morning with an exceptionally loud purr - she is also having a nap right now, so think things are getting better. Thank you again

Re: Shaking twitching cat . Please help
Poor kitty. Is she eating and drinking? Such a worry for you, I've never had this with my cat so can't be of much help but I hope things improve for you both.

Thanks for your reply. I think it's the drugs too, as she's usually a daytime cat napper, I was just concerned it may be a sign of pain.
She's just dozed off, some 26 hours after her surgery!

Re: Post op behaviour
Hi and thank you both for your responses. Yes they used a different anesthetic this time as she was so slow to recover from the one they used a few weeks ago. I think she may be in a little pain still as she sometimes runs from her food when attempting to eat (she's learning to eat with so little te...

Post op behaviour
Hi everyone! I'm new here so apologies if I do or say anything I shouldn't! My 7 year old cat Bella underwent dental surgery last month to have a scale and clean, as well as 8 teeth removed due to severe gingivitis. Her blood pressure dropped significantly during this surgery, and so they cut the op...
