And breathe! I can see how this is stressful for everyone in the home. It's not fair on Bella and Mouse and as a result - you are unhappy and stressed. Have you done a proper introduction process between the two cats? Please search on this site on how to do it properly. It takes time - it took me 5 ...

2 cats being aggressive towards kitten going outside
Hi all, I have three female cats - all spayed. Two litter mate kittens (Kellen and Ferius) - who are now 9 months old. there is also an adult cat called Buffy (6 years old). When the kittens arrived, I did a proper introduction process which took 5 weeks from the kittens arriving to wandering around...

Re: Injection site lump on my kitten
My kitten had one develop. I took her to see the vet and the vet checked it and said it was fine.
She didn't get a lump from the second round.
Her sister didn't get any lumps at all.

My Buffy didn't like the salmon and tuna flavours in the UK box.
I bought the duck/ lamb mix from zooplus and she eats all four flavours.

Re: I am moving. should I take him or give him to someone in the neighborhood
I appreciate that it will be difficult for you with two moves on the horizon.
Would your neighbour just be taking care of your kitty until you are finally settled? Or did you mean for them to keep the fur baby permanently?

Re: HELP CAT HISSING AT SISTER AND SON
Are the males neutered?
I want to rule that out first. Neutered females can react badly and get aggressive to boys who aren't fixed.
If they are, then I'll post some questions up that might get you thinking about the reasons she could be doing this.

Hi, Not sure if it's more potent but they have a choice between drontal tablets or the Provender drops. The drops are only applied every three months. My cat-niece has to take a blood thinning pill every day (congenital heart issues). I'm looking after her solo, this week. I wrap her in a hoodie so ...

Does your vet have drops? I use prodefender drops from the vet.
Also, the Cat's Protection League have a good video on how to administer a pill to a cat on YouTube.
I use some pate or butter to make it yummy for them. Then blow on their nose or rub their throat gently so they swallow the pill.

Successful introduction but now adult cat is being hassled.
Hi all, I have two kittens (15 weeks old) and an adult cat (5 years old). I've had the kittens since they were 8 weeks old and we took the introduction slowly. The process can be found on this thread: https://www.catchat.org/felineforum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=9382 Last week, we allowed the kittens...

Re: Passive cat and confident kitten fighting and hissing all the time
Hey,
I'm wondering if you're okay and things going well?
I'm going through the same.
Had a successful introduction. No fights or fur flying
But the new younger ones won't leave the resident adult cat alone.
Don't know how to stop them.

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Dear Mollycat and Ruth, I want to say a huge thank you for all your support and help. We have been free roaming this weekend - and it's been great! Buffy and Ferius have found their equilibrium. They're still learning about each other - but it's going to be a positive journey. I'm so grateful for yo...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Thank you!
I actually did half an hour of free roaming yesterday - which went very well.
I stopped it because Ferius went under a chair and started stalking Buffy whilst Buffy was chilling. Then Buffy saw a paw dart from under the chair and went up slap it.

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Ruth.
Thanks for your reassurance.
This weekend, the kittens would have been with us five weeks.
We're going to allow them to roam during the day now.
I'm nervous!!!
Wish me luck.

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Thank you for your excellent advice. I have a positive yet puzzling update. We are now feeding all cats 'semi-supervised'. This means I put the food down and go off but keep an eye out from the kitchen. This has been going well apart from one incident, which I will mention. All three of them now ...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi, Hope all is well. I have a weird update. Feedings have been going well. There hasn't been much interaction because I'm on my own in the week, so I've played with Ferius on the shelves whilst throwing Buffy treats or playing with Buffy on the ground whilst Ferius plays with a toy. Today, Buffy da...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi, Thanks for your advice. Buffy has upped her pace today. I have a phenomenal update! During the 6am feed, I led Kellen the excitable kitten away. Buffy came to their bowls to eat. She was eating six inches from Ferius!! After Ferius are, she walked past Buffy and groomed with her back to Buffy. B...

Hi all, Hope you are all well and having a good weekend. A Buffy and kitten update... Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Another Buffy update! The kittens were playing in the sitting room and Buffy was asleep in the conservatory. One of them ran into the French doors and woke Buffy up! I got the toy out and starting playing with them while Buffy watched. She sat at the doors as if she wanted to come in. So I let her i...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
5pm feed. The gate was open half way. Buffy went completely into the kitten room to eat Ferius' food. I put more kitten food in it and she took her time to chomp it whilst I played with red dot with the other two. All was well. Buffy ate, walked off, hung around. Walked into my room. Ferius dashed f...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Mollycat, Thank you for that tip. I will look into that and I do think it's an issue that might present itself when the kittens have the run of the house. Thank you for that excellent tip. I hadn't even considered that the little chompers might go for her biscuits - which Buffy only eats for a re...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Ruth, Thank you for replying and your encouraging words. There are usually six bowls, each kitty has a wet and dry bowl. But for the sake of mutual feeding, I have five bowls out and keep Buffy's dry food elsewhere. Buffy was a stray for the first six months of her life and needs food reassurance...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
6am feed update! I left the gate half open. Buffy only looked up twice. Ferius finished first and walked off to groom. Then Buffy finished. Instead of walking off, she crossed the baby gate into their room then stopped! I pushed Ferius' bowl a bit closer to her. She ate, looked at Ferius, and hissed...

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Mollycat.
Thank you for the ideas. Seeing your tips as made me a lot anxious about the next stage.
Buffy and the kittens ate today with the baby gate 1/3 open.
Buffy looked up a bit more, but other than that, no dramas!

Re: Introducing two new kittens to resident cat
Hi Ruth
Thank you so much for your reply.
They all eat either side of a baby gate in full view.
I may go with 'baby steps' at first and try leaving the baby gate open an inch or two and proceed that way.
Thank you for help and support.
