Re: Is my cat Spraying? Or not?
Well, he did it! My Bart really DID "spray" in my bathroom last night! Remember, he was "acting out as if spraying," but last night, he just stood there in front of me and totally sprayed! All over my shower door and down the side of the shower! I wasn't too happy, since it happe...

Is my cat Spraying? Or not?
Well, here's the issue: We moved a couple of months ago. Got settled in pretty easily, and the cats are much happier....we were living with a couple and TWO small dogs! The yappy little kind, so they would yap and my cats would all JUMP!!! Finally got rid of them, by selling our house and moving to ...

Re: Issues with Kitty Litter pan
Thank you all for the suggestions! I can look into getting a piece of vinyl "runner." A left-over piece from a roll. We had some from a small closet we put a new floor in, and we used pieces of it under the food dishes. As you say, it's easy to clean up. But I have NO idea what happened to...

Re: Eyes Glowing Different Colors
We rescued two kittens a few years ago (still with us!), and one had a crusty, scaly something over one eye. I named him "Jack" - like "one-eyed Jack!" Well, we treated the eye and the crusty stuff went away. He's a happy, healthy fellow now, but when I take a picture of him, his ...

Re: Help, 9wk kittens sudden poop problems!
I can only speak from my experience with dogs. Don't know if it's the same virus with kittens. This sounds EXACTLY like Parvo-virus. VERY contagious and difficult to treat. I had to give intravenous fluids every 4 hours for a couple days. Even then, only half the litter lived. You might want to rese...

Re: Cat licking herself red raw
I found a shampoo with oatmeal in it that seemed to calm some irritation my boy had. He used to chew himself raw, too. It wasn't from fleas, as he had none, but he still chewed until there was NO fur left! Don't know what it was called, and cannot look right now as I am at work. Maybe someone else k...

Issues with Kitty Litter pan
We have several cats. Yes, we have several kitty litter boxes as well! The problem is that since we've moved into a new place, the cats (maybe just one, but I don't know which one) has started scooping up the pee pads underneath the litter boxes and trying to scoop them into the box, too! If I don't...

Re: Cat Behavior I am Confused By + Looking For Ways To Help My Cat
Just a wild, random guess here, but judging from your description of Lucifer's behavior, it sounds like he wants to be - uh - "amorous" with the new one! Is he neutered? I've seen that kind of behavior in one of my boys. Even tho he was neutered at a very early age, ocassionally, he gets t...
