Re: Cat urinating.
Perhaps letting the older cat out more often is the best solution. Separating the younger two from the older cat seems the best bet. Giving the younger ones lots of TLC to try and help relieve their stress when the older cat is there. Also maybe giving the older cat some kind attention at the times ...

Re: Injection site lump on my kitten
Definitely phone your vet's office straight away. They should be able to tell you if it's okay or not; that way you'll know for certain. Probably best not to wait.

Re: Sick cat, bad vet
Only a good vet could know what is wrong with the little cat. You could certainly try getting a second opinion. It seems like the best idea. Hope it goes well for you, your aunt, and the cat

Re: Cats fighting and not getting along
That really appears to be a difficult situation! Perhaps you could try getting a squirt bottle, and each time the boys gang up on smudge, give them both a good squirt of water to get them going. Show them that you are angry and that behavior is not acceptable. Also, what about separating the boys fr...

Yours seems to be a very difficult situation that requires patience and perseverance, but it should improve with time. There is a pheromone (happy cat synthetic facial pheromone) product called "Feliway", sold as a plug-in diffuser or a spray. If you spray it on the gate, or leave it plugg...

Re: Dark spots on tongue
Our male cat had dark spots on his lips, which turned out to be pigment, as diagnosed by the vet we go to. Although our cat is mainly red/orange, he has many black hairs all over his body. There is a book written by a vet. It is about Chinese Medicine for Dogs and Cats, by Cheryl Schwartz, DVM. She ...

Re: new male and female kittens post neuter/spay care
Magnus and Lola might need to go in separate rooms to recover, if they tend to play too rough together. But the vet is the best person to ask. If there are sutures, they wouldn't want them pulled out. Usually the discharge staff at the hospital give post surgery instructions. Indoor cats usually don...

Re: New kitten introduction help
Sounds like they are basically okay. Maybe it would work to leave just the gate between them for longer periods of time. And to spend as much time as you can with them at the gate. That way you could see if there's any improvement. Maybe kitten is asserting himself by hissing, because he is a little...
