I have a three legged cat and she gets around fine (although its a back leg) im a vet nurse and i have to say i think i would go for amputation rather than repair a lot of the time... the recovery is so much quicker and they do cope fine, ive seen a lot of repairs go wrong anyway and end in amputati...
