Re: New kitten
I had to syringe feed Midge when I first got her as she was an emergency rescue at 5 weeks old and wasn't eating anything. She wouldn't touch the milk substitute so i ended up mushing up some high quality dried kitten food in water and feeding it to her with a syringe little and often throughout the...

Re: teeth cleaning
I use plaque off with Midge and she doesn't even notice when I put it in her food every morning, which I was surprised about as she's the fussiest cat ever! I have tried her on raw duck wings before (she is on a raw diet anyway so thought she would love them) but she looked at me like I was mad haha...

Re: Going Outside - what age ?
Hi Helen, I had some bad experiences with Midge going missing a few times but after about 10 months she was fine. After she went missing for the second time (around 8 months I think) I would only let her out on a harness with me and wouldn't let her go further than I wanted her to. I think this has ...

Re: vet wants to extract teeth in young cat - and raw food Q
I haven't had any experience with the tooth extraction side of things, but I do however feed Midge on a raw diet. I don't think I would go down the DIY route purely because I would be so worried there might be something she's not getting/that I'm missing out of her diet. She is on Natures Menu raw n...

Re: following on from the Fab Cat Furniture thread
Loving the DIY toy ideas! May have to try out a few, especially the Tupperware box one.... Midge loves balls rattling round in things! I think my other half will be trying the box next to his computer. He gets so annoyed when Midge plonks her bum so innocently right in the middle of the keyboard and...

Re: Have Lily's Kitchen sold out (to profit)?
I had a letter from Lilys Kitchen as I run a pet shop in a garden centre. They explained that they wanted to keep their organic range available to independent retailers only as they still wish to support them. However the demand for Lilys Kitchen in supermarkets is apparently so high they wanted to ...

Hi Helen. I use advocate as well which I get from my vets with a pet plan monthly payments thing. I find the spot ons a lot easier to use so I get profender on the plan as well. You just give it a week after the advocate and then every 3 months

Re: pooly kitten. does he hate me or isthis a sign he is get
It sounds like he is being very well looked after! Midge was similar to your kitten when I first got her. She was very poorly, had to be syringe fed and no-one thought she was going to make it. She was unbelievably clingy and would follow me everywhere, cry if she couldn't see me, sleep under my chi...

Re: cat toys
Midge loves cardboard boxes too! I spend so much money on toys for her and then as soon as I have a parcel delivered in a box she's straight in there like it's her new best friend! Money well spent it seems........ not!

Hello!
Hi everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself, or rather my beautiful girl Midge! I wasn't sure whether to post or not as I have been on a forum before (not a cat one) and found myself amongst some pretty horrible people, but I have been looking on here for the last couple of days and everyone seem...
