Re: My cat won't eat cat biscuits

My older cat eats a lot of mice and I hear him crunching the bones, so maybe my little one will do the same but I will get a raw chicken wing and see how he gets on with that.
Thanks

Re: Help with Cat Flap & Tolietering Outside

I have just trained my cat to use the cat flap and yes for a while she would use it to come inside but would wait for me to open the door to let her out, I decided to stop opening the door for her if she wanted to go out badly enough she would figure it out, after about 5 hours out she went all by h...

Re: cat going in neighbours garden

Unfortunately cats will go where they want to mine take great pleasure in using my neighbours garden and slightly embarrassing when you are standing talking to the neighbour! Maybe put a litter tray outside their cat flap? If at any time they do use the tray, sprinkle it around your garden, to encou...

Re: cat really struggling with body splint - help please!

It's the worse thing ever to see your cat in such a state, I agree I would call the vets and see if they can make so sort of adjustment, but at this point you have to be cruel to be kind while they are healing. Put lots of padding in the cage as the other person suggested so there is little room for...

Re: Vomiting 5.5 Month Old Kitten

Sounds like a visit to the vets is in order. If you have a syringe keep giving the cat water down the throat to try and hydrate them. Maybe try a small bit of scrambled egg? But definitely get an emergency appt I'm sure there will be a vet open on a Sunday somewhere near you, pets at home have a vet...

Re: My cat won't eat cat biscuits

I've tried every type of biscuits including the treat biscuits. I've tried hi life semi soft and go cat semi soft to no avail. I'm bothered about his teeth as just eating soft food can't be good for his teeth, I've tried the dental treats to, I bought some cat toothpaste but it is not easy to clean ...

My cat won't eat cat biscuits

My cat is now 6 months old I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. In all that time he will not eat any buiscuits, I've tried every brand you can think off and no he will not touch them, all he likes to do is knock the bowl over then play with them all over the kitchen floor. Has anyone heard before ...

Cat trackers

Does anyone have any experience of using cat trackers, I have read up on a couple and they have very mixed reviews and I wondered if anyone has tried them?
Thanks

Re: Extreme flea infestation - please help.

I've had fleas in my house in the past which have come in from mice that the cats bring into the house. I agree with the above people, the first thing you need to do is get them off the cats I use advocate as frontline didn't work on my cats, take advise from your vet or a nurse at your practice. Ge...

My cat fighting a stray

My beautiful Toby is fighting everyday/night with a stray. He is coming home with a ripped out claw a scratched eye and is desperately unhappy. I have set a trap, kept Toby in for days (which he hates) I have no idea what to do. I've been to the vets about 5 times in the past 3 weeks. I'm so sad for...

Re: Cat peeing Outside Litter Tray

It sounds to me that she is very stressed about something, any changes in the house even the smallest of things? I had a problem with my cat a while back and after some time I realised I had changed the plug in brand that I had always used to a different smell and he hated it, also there was another...

Re: Chaotic Kitten

I did the Jackson galaxy method, which worked for me. Depending on what time you go to bed approx 3 hours before play play play and wear him out. Just before you go to bed feed him his evening wet food, he says do this for 10 nights and the cat will sleep through the night, it worked for me after ab...

My cat had a small pea size lump I took her to the vets and they said it was an abscess. It grew to the size of a golf ball so they lanced it cleaned it out and sitched her back up, she look like Frankenstein. But she was fine afterwards

I have just had a new kitten who is about 10 weeks old and oh yes he goes crazy, I am covered in scratches and bites but he is only playing. This morning I watched him climb up my 6 foot high curtains and sat thinking oh dear how am I going to stop him doing that. It's when I am not paying him atten...
