Re: Cat mounting
Hi thanks for the response. Yes all neutered. None of what you mention seems applicable in my cats case. The 13 year old is definitely not slowing down, he’s very much the boss. The 10 year old has always been a little weird cat; I guy him at 5 weeks old after he was found in a garden. He absolutely...

Cat mounting
I have a 10 year old cat who I’ve recently noticed tries to mount my 13 year old cat. The 13 year old is the dominant cat out of my three - other cat is 7. The cat doing the mounting has never been a dominant cat and is a wuss tbqh, I’ve noticed this behaviour at night. Any ideas why?

3 yo boy looking for rural home NW
I have a three year old black and White boy cat, neutered. He is a bit aloof and much prefers being outside to inside. Him and my oldest cat don't get on, but he does get on with my tabby. I don't want to rehome him to anywhere, I want him preferably to go to a home where he will have a warm bed in ...

Cat asthma
I took my youngest cat Ossie to the vets yesterday as he has been periodically coughing for the last few weeks. I expected asthma and that's what she also thinks. She have him a steroid injection that will last 3-4 days. If it works when can I expect it to kick in? He's just coughed a little bit now...

Re: Advice needed - outdoors cat, hates being inside
Hi Jacks thanks for the reply. Mowgli hasn't spent a night inside for nearly a year, even during last winter (even though it was milder than previous years). The outhouse has a cat flap and is completely dry, as it's where my washing machine is. The cat beds are on top of a counter, and when all the...

Advice needed - outdoors cat, hates being inside
I have four cats, all rescues or former feral. My second youngest, Mowgli, who is an RSPCA rescue and cam from a hoarders house with over 30 cats, is very very aloof. He generally hates being inside. He will come inside and sleep on the spare bed during the day if I'm home and the back door is left ...
