Re: New kitten today

Hi Andy congrats on your new addition. I too have a Pebbles. An exotic Oriental x. She was adopted but they had a 13 yr old who didn’t cope. I think they would’ve worked things out but they panicked so she’s back with me & my four. Looking forward to pics of Jess I assume is the new little un. Vivia...

Oh she’s so much like my mum’s Burman Tim Tam who came to live with mum from my sister as she was being bullied by a Manx, Molly. Mum called one day saying “Kit Kat was settling.” “Mum it’s Tim Tam.” “Oh I knew she as named after some kind of chocolate!” Timmy passed not quite a yr after my mu...

Re: Bean Family Dilemma

Hi Bean .. welcome to Cat Chat. I agree with Ruth’s comment. If the cat is injured an abscess can make him really sick unless treated. And the fact he’s ‘in tact’ he’ll be a target for other Toms & then there’s Feline Aids...I’d rescue both if you can.

Re: New kitten - poop help

Hi Tinkerbeth I’d be contacting a vet & taking a stool sample. Could be bacteria infection from mum. Better to be safe as kittens can go down very quickly, My Harper had to be treated for cocedia 2x. Something she caught from her mum & is quite nasty & contagious. Had to treat her & my other three w...
