Re: A Street cat named Bob

Yes I've read the book. Fantastic. I think I actually posted on here a while back about it. I also always give to the Big issue sellers. They sell that magazine to try to help themselves out of awful situations. They are mostly lovely people, one from around here was a university student from a love...

grunting

I'm sure I might have asked this before but I can't remember the answers. Why does Theo grunt??.. its not loud, just a quiet grunting noise. Sometimes he just sits in front of me looking at me grunting continuously. Or when he's looking out of the window he does it. I'm just curious :D

Re: M25 cat killer

This is such a good post. Where I live they're taking cats for bait an just yesterday I passed an entry and there was a dead cat which although I'm not going to elaborate it was obvious what had happened. And yet people are still letting their cats out at night. I will never understand that. One of ...

Re: Putting my cat to sleep TOMORROW - worried it's not right

Many years ago I had a poodle. He lived till he was 14 but at the end he went blind , he had lumps on his little head from bumping into things, his back legs went and the vet said hed gone deaf. I used to take him out and carry him in a blanket. When we went to bed hed be crying and whimpering downs...

Theo had his "rituals" too. Lol :D My daughter always says he has OCD. He comes to play at the exact same times each day. And waits at his food cupboard at the same time morning and night. He even has "his place" on the couch and if I sit there he sits on the floor in front of me...

Re: leaving cat while on vacation

Its perfectly normal to feel like you do. We put our cat Theo in a recommended cattery when we went on a weeks holiday and I,ll never do it again. He's a complicated boy anyway but he was so unhappy. Didn't hardly eat and hid at the back of his pen the whole time the lady said. When we picked him up...

Re: Extremely nervous cat

Hi Gary. This sounds so like my cat Theo. Ive written all about him on here. We had him for a full year before he even made a sound. The vet said he had probably been "traumatised" as a kitten and wouldn't meow until he felt safe. Then after a year be finally meowd. A weak little warble bu...

Thanks Kay. It was just that I typed in on Google "do cats need annual boosters" and lots of info came up regarding the injections but reading between the lines it seems unnessasary for indoor cats.

theos annual check up

Hi folks. Ive had an email saying Theo is due his annual check up and booster injections. Now I'm a bit confused. Ive been looking online and lots of people say booster injections are only nessesary every 3yrs. Some say indoor cats don't need the leukaemia booster at all. Just cat flu and diareeah. ...

Cats are independent. Mayby your overpowering her. It all sounds a bit intense to me. To the point of being obsessive. Just leave her be and let her come to you when she wants.

Awww its sad when pets pass over but I also think we should let them be at rainbow bridge in peace and happy. I wouldn't feel right trying to "call them back". But I feel the same about humans too. Once theyv gone their at peace and your memories keep them with you.

I put flea treatment on theo (stronghold) and he's now sulking. I hate doing it to him, I only do it every 6months now because he's an indoor cat. He goes all strange, walking really low with his belly near touching the floor, be won't come near us and his pupils are very dilated. He's ok the next d...

Awww how sad. My Theo is an indoor cat and seems quite content. If I open the back door slightly he pokes his little face out but as soon as the wind blows on him he turns round and runs, lol, but sometimes when I go out in the garden to hang my washing out he sits gazing at me and yes I ve been tem...
