You will need to give us some more information. Where are you located etc.
Please visit the 'Homes Needed' forum and put your location in the title.

I hope this poor little cat gets a good and loving home and someone to care for her in her final days. She deserves it.

What an awful thing to suggest! Poor Boris. I'd be damned angry as well.

So pleased you now have him back with you.

Re: Lethargic cat

I wonder if it could be the very warm weather which is making her uncomfortable. Yesterday, it was 79f here in Norwich and my Dave was wandering about a bit and meowing. What I do is get some kitchen roll and wet it with cool water and rub him all over with this. He seems to like that. :) I hope you...

Re: My cat needs a new home

Why do people automatically believe that they have to get rid of a cat when a baby is expected.
With proper attention to hygiene and behaviour, the cat and the baby will be just fine.
It seems to me that this happens all to often and it's the poor, bewildered cat who suffers.

Re: Yowling to go out in early hours.

Maybe this has something to do with the spat he had recently? Has something changed outside? Have you got 'visitors' you don't know of? At least it is only something that started recently and it is only Dave. Purdy is a real pest for this. She will repeatedly walk over both of us, until one of us g...

Yowling to go out in early hours.

Dave is an indoor /outdoor cat and I let him in and out. During the nice weather I've had door open all day sometimes up to midnight. But Dave always knows when it's time to come in when I lock up and we go to bed. However, at 2am this morning, I was woken up by Dave yowling at the door to go out. :...

Thank you, LittlePen and Gillian. Yes, I think the Sheba is a bit rich. I have now got him back on his usual Whiskas and I'm withholding treats for a day or two. He hasn't been wormed, so I will make an appointment at the vet just to make sure and have him wormed. He hasn't been sick and he is eatin...

Usually Whiskas pouches and Go Cat dry food. And, as an occasional treat, those Webbox stick things and Dreamies.

Very soft stools

Sorry, Dave again :? I've been feeding Dave Sheba Gourmet Perle mini fillets in gravy for a change. However, his 'poop' is very sloppy and not well formed and I wondered if this could be the food. It seems to have started since I began feeding it to him. Has anyone else noticed this with Sheba produ...

Subdued after fight.

Dave had one hell of a scrap this morning with another cat. This cat looked quite a bit smaller than Dave, and Dave was on top of this cat. Even my feather duster (which Dave is scared of) failed to stop it. It was quite alarming. :o Now Dave is in doors but seems very subdued and miserable. I've ch...

The fact that Woody lived to such a venerable age is a great credit to you and your care for him.

Re: Cat throwing up clear and foamy liquid constantly

Some years ago, one of my cats, Rowan was hacking up foamy stuff. I rushed him to the vet and they sedated him and fished a tiny grass seed type thing from his throat. But I guess your vet would have seen that. Some cats do it when they've been eating grass as well. And sometimes, they can get a bla...

My Dave has made MASSIVE inroads (holes) in my chair. Re: Found Cat - very nervous

If the cat is neutered, in a male the gap between the anal opening and the other opening is larger than the female, which are closer together. Hope that makes sense. :D Of course, if he's entire, as Lilith says, you'll know. 8-) Hope he settles down ok. Give him a fuss from me and good on you for re...

Frightened Dave

This morning, Dave went out as usual for his constitutional. I always leave the door open for him. Anyway, after about 20 minutes, he came sidling down the stairs (I didn't know he'd come in) He looked very nervous and scared. I went to him, but he went behind the sofa, then back upstairs and hid un...

Yawning, slow blinking and looking slightly away from the cat signals your friendly intentions. If he/she does it back, it means they are relaxed around you. :)

Aww! Sorry for the dud link, folks. Anyway, you all appreciated the sentiment. My Dave is big on cuddles.....on his terms. :D I always know when he wants fusses as he sits and meows at my feet. Then we have lots of kisses, cuddles and head bunting. Until he gets bored then he starts gnawing my hand....
