They haven't told Denver about the "affection" part - when he gets on my lap he really snuggles up high for a cuddle and he really loves a tummy rub when he wants it!! But I agree with most of the rest.

I would also echo the other advice to see what your Vet has to say, I've also had no experience with anything like that but it doesn't look very nice!

I'm so sorry about your cat, and that is a lovely way to remember him, don't worry about feeling angry and upset - when we lose our cats, its losing one of the family - especially one still quite young.
