Re: Help Kitten peeing on beds

I agree with everything the others have said. I have a friend whose cat Molly, suddenly started to pee on her duvet, Vet said she did this because she had been spooked, which was true, my friend has a child, spawn of the devil, I'm tempted to join Molly and pee in inappropriate places when he's arou...

Re: Non stop eating

That's so funny Catslave  and I thought I had a problem with Armand, he followed, well, ran actually, after me wherever I went. The wee geezer never did learn to open doors, would scrabble round the bathroom door with his elegant black paw, until eventually his weight meant he would literally t...

Re: Non stop eating

Thanks Guys, what you say makes sense. He absolutely adored tiny wee Cody from the word go, little and large. Took a while to settle with Armand but they all got on well, despite entirely different personalities. I joke with my family that Gandhi is so intelligent, I'm convinced he is a 40yr old pro...

Non stop eating

Hi all, I wonder if any of you could give me advice on this minor but puzzling 'problem'. Some time ago, I posted on the Bereavement site about the loss of my beloved cats, Armand and Cody. Well here's the thing, my remaining 12yr old cat Gandhi, a big grey cushion of love and personality, is thrivi...

Re: Time to say goodbye

I'm so sorry Kris, you knew this was coming but that doesn't make it any easier to bear. All I can say is what was said to me on here when I was in a similar position - better a day too early than a day too late. You know she's on the way out, you are just saving her from unnecessary suffering. As ...

I know exactly what you mean. Loads of pics of Gandhi and a very photogenic Cody, few duff ones of beloved Armand.. but.. one day he looked up at me with his big green, round eyes and newly shiny fur.. snap. .the perfect un-posed for photo which I cherish but haven't posted here on this forum. Re: Night time terrors

Tea bags? Hope it's a good Yorkshire brew :). I grow lots of catmint on my allotment, would bring home armfuls, cats not interested. Brought home carrots with the 'fronds' still on them, Cody was in heaven, would roll about all over them, bat them about the kitchen floor, sent her a bit high actuall...

Re: Night time terrors

Thank you Crewella, black cats are notoriously difficult to photograph and this pic does not do wee Armand justice. We hadn't had him long when taken, but despite the fact he had sore skin from 24/7 flea bites and various illnesses, considered un - rehomeable, he was a total bundle of joy, became sl...

Re: Night time terrors

Thank you darling. I've been trying to post pics for ages. Both very small cats, Armand used to sit like that all the time. I've been thinking about you all afternoon, wish I was near to wrap you and your wee one in hugs. Hope she recovers her health.

Update:30th March 2017 Well..it's been a year today and 11 months tomorrow since my beloved wee geezer Armand, and my beautiful little lady, Cody died. Has it been hard? Yes, of course, in a way that the loss of a loved one af...

Thanks. Not sure what to do - just read Synulox can have side effects and she was pooing blood earlier. Just been researching pancreatitis and Im not sure she is strong enough to go on a drip - I do not want her to be without me when she dies. Will see how she is overnight but am not giving her tha...

Re: Kitten will not clean her bottom!

My Gandhi is a big cat with tummy troubles, didn't use to clean his rear after runny bum ( I cant spell diarrhoea ). I mean frankly, would you want to taste that? Anyway, he's an otherwise clean cat, especially now he's an 'only' and always cleans after solids. I personally would not use kitchen tow...

Thanks Kris, your kind words comforted me. I don't have a problem bonding with people, thank goodness, in fact it's the opposite, fending them off. Couldn't be sure without seeing Ronny's ears but it sounds to me like ear mites. My friends 2 Maine Coon cats displayed same symptoms. It doesn't start off too badly but becomes very sore and irritating, infection spreading over the outside of the ear the longer it is left, quite nasty. Failing that...

HI Shaz, lovely weather? Not here in Glasgow. We got a few days really hot, humid weather but yesterday.. horizontal rain. Re: Excessive licking/grooming

Hi SuziR, my wee silver and white female cat Cody, the friendliest most laid back cat ever, used to lick her tum until bald and raw. She was a 'fussy' eater in that she would only take a bite or two of the food the other two cats dined on, Felix etc. her bowl never emptied. Tried everything includin...

Hi Otokage, Thanks for this information. The emergency vet did test his blood, and had said that all of his bloodwork was normal. He doesn't want to eat the bland food, he wants the regular food we feed them and he has an appetite but we're only feeding him in small amounts per doctor's orders. He has still thrown up a few more times, lit...
