Did you manage to get Beryl back when she dashed off, or did she come back all by herself?, goodness what a worry,

Thank you for the lovely further update on her, and glad she is much more settled ( apart from the one day ! ) and i am sure she loves you as much back as you love her .

Re: 3 weeks on and I'm still so upset

My avatar is Luca, who was a stray, he was only with us 10 months and died very suddenly at the end of June, he is buried in the garden and i chat to him, as if he is still here, i find that helps, i kept some of his fur that he moulted, in a little box with butterflies on, to remind me he is now a ...

Re: update on the small crew of Italian cats who moved in on

My strays love the large polestyrene boxes, that meats and such like are delivered in, With the lid at the bottom i just cut a door in the side of the box, slightly raised and then add a couple of sheets of paper, and they love cardboard to lie on, and an old towel, with the boxes being insulated mat...

4 weeks is not that long at all & and as you say he was a fully grown tom, so no wonder he is still wary, to gain trust after that time, is going to take a little longer, but you will get there i am sure.

Hi i use Eliminall for ticks and fleas, which you can get for £13.88 for 6 on line, even vets said it is very good.

Do your little mogs need the Milbemax twice a year? i think it is prescription only, but others may know where to get it cheaper.

Re: Good bye Charlie bear

This sounds very very wrong, i am thinking something seriously happened to Charlie Bear, he could have fallen or worse, ( poison)

Not many read the bereavement section, i will start a new thread in general cat, and hopefully someone with more knowledge may be able to help you.

So very sorry.

uggh! Blue bottle fly maggots are pale whitish larvae, but change to brown cocoons. Does your cat go outside? if so they could have found some cat food that had been left outside or meat of any description ! as it only takes a very short time for the pesky maggots to hatch from laid eggs but if they...

Very very rare for foxes to kill cats, more likely a dog. I think its juts a run of bad luck your street is having, but how many have gone missing unexplained, is it many for number of cats in your area, if so has it been reported. I would keep your little one safe and close to home/inside for now unt...

Can you check if her claws are ok, ? if they are scuffed and short would indicate being dragged, ie dog/car knock, if they are fine sounds like they had a bit of rough treatment from another animal, especially when she was covered in dust and fur standing on end. One of mine came in once like that, ...
