I don't have an experience with this, is it inflamed, red or hot? Or is it causing any discomfort if you touch that area?

I would imagine it will settle down in time but maybe put a call into the vet to see if it's normal.

Can't quite bring myself to call him Greebo... We called the horrible kids at school Greebo (I know, we were kids...).

So sorry Sally, don't beat yourself up, as you rightly said it would have been cruel to keep her going and she probably would have been miserable knowing how clean cats are. Sad for her babies and for you but kindest for her.

Great update Helen, poor lad must have been frozen with fear. As Mark says baby steps will ensure Stinky Fred turns the corner and realises that us humans are a push over and the source of lots of good stuff (excluding eye drops!)

I don't think Dennis wants to commit. As you know, it is a big commitment. I think she will get a good home through Nicola and there will always be more cats. She is so lovely though
