Seen these on My Cat From Hell - definitely better than de-clawing but still a bit iffy!

Re: Buying a cat from a breeder

Yes - this is perfect!

Not everyone can rescue or even wants too and those people still deserve respect which may come as a surprise to some people. We just need to educate people on the type of breeders to go to and to always get their kittens and cats spayed/neutered!

Get your kitty to a vet!!!!

lumps are something that you should go to the vets straight away about as you can just never know!

Re: Should I report my neighbours to the RSPCA?

If you are really worried I'd say make that phone call - all you need to say is that you want to remain anonymous and there is no way of neighbours finding out it was you

Re: Help to rehome a cat

Have you posted on social networking sites or on sites such as Preloved, Gumtree, Pets4Homes etc?

If not I'd really suggest you do so!

Good luck and I really hope you find a home as putting a pet down just because it is a hindrance or is unwanted is atrocious!

It's not the kneading that bothers me, it is the suckling sort of behaviour

Re: New cat introduction! Not sure what's best

Could you put Mia in your bathroom if you want Miinx in with you at night? I have heard about a tonne of people using the bathroom as their bonding room - I am just going through introductions with my two, Whisky came home on Friday but thankfully with their ages they are the best of friends already...

So sorry Glen :( such a horrible experience!

Was the Metacam oral or injection as I have heard of some cats having a lot of issues with oral Metacam.

At least Moggy is in a better place now xxx

Maybe the best thing to do then is to keep her in for a while then? May drive her crazy for a little while but she'll soon get used to it. Better that than her disappearing all together

Re: Help!

Is she possibly being fed somewhere else and they think she is a stray? If I was you I'd put a paper collar on her (if she does't wear a collar already) with your contact details asking person to contact you. Another suggestion is to lock your baby in when thy next come home for a few weeks - will h...

Young kitten nursing on arm

My 7 week old Whisky came home this weekend and this morning he started to knead me arm and lick it like he was trying to nurse. Obviously I know this is because he was separate from mum too early which unfortunately was out of my control. What I was wondering is if there was any way to deter this b...

Re: Dilemma - Advice needed

Hope all goes well for you and Whisky. My first cat was only about a week old when a neighbour's dog dropped 'it' in front of my car as I was driving into town. Not sure if it was male or female, we called it 'Willow'. As the local (farm) vet seemed to know less about cats than me. I turned to a fr...

Re: Dilemma - Advice needed

Oh yes, ickle Whisky has grew quite a bit! After getting Comet and thinking he was a she and then finding out otherwise we were kind of prepared for the fact that Whisky might not have been a girl - even though we kind of wanted him to be! But oh well, that is just the way the cookie crumbles!

Re: Dilemma - Advice needed

Shelly, I am out numbered by males - 2 male cats, 2 male gerbils and my boyfriend! But ah well, wouldn't change them for the world. I think Comet is not enjoying being able to get through to the big computer as it is in the bonding room but he'll just need to settle for the laptop to update his frie...
