It's easy, all you have to do is register by pressing the register box at the top right hand corner of the main page. It will talk you through what you have to do. Good luck, see you soon. :)

Re: **MISSING CAT STOKE ON TRENT (ST4 area)**

Yes, its does sound strange, I know that some cats will find themselves extra 'homes'. We've got a neighbour's cat that calls our place home but our neighbour is quite happy with this. But this sounds a bit more sinister. Why don't you register with us so that you've got a proper support network. Th...

After the sad passing of Yowlee earlier this year I don't think he would mind if I now changed my avatar picture to one of Georgie. This one always makes me smile. She was about four months old here. I had run a bath for my husband and both of us had forgotten about it . fortunately, this meant it h...

Re: Give a cat a bad name....

I agree with Lilith, we have far more problems with magpies than we ever have or have had with cats. We too have nest boxes in the garden and with the odd exception with fledglings, our cats catch more 'dangerous killer' earth worms than birds.

Re: Long Haired Cats in Hot Weather

I recently brought my cat back from the cattery. When I got there and stepped out of the car it was like a blast furnace. I was thinking 'i hope Georgie is ok in there, but there was no need to worry. The lady who ran it saw me coming and opened the door almost pulling me in. 'its ok ', she said, 'i...

Well, the sulking lasted approximately two hours. She's eaten her tea and come for a mega cuddle. She's now sitting on the windowsill in the bedroom trying to encourage a daddy longlegs to come and be her 'friend'!

Just back from St Ives. Been to pick Georgia up, she howled at me all the way home. She's now 're marking everything in the garden. She also seems to have lost a little weight. I put her food down but she's only had a mouthful and then turn her nose up at the rest. She has however had a big handful ...

Re: Advice - Cattery lost my boy

Just dropped Georgia off at the cattery this afternoon. She leapt straight out of my arms into her pen like I was Nelly Nobody, gave me the briefest of glances back and started to wash herself. That's put me in my place.

Re: Advice - Cattery lost my boy

I'm so sorry about this happening to you, you must be worried sick. Unfortunately its not easy finding the perfect cattery until you've tried it once or twice, no matter what it looks like. I definitely wouldn't pay for the lost cat if they have the gall to try and charge you. If they do, I'd threat...

Georgia has been a little scurfy just lately. I've had a good look at her skin and there's no sore patches anywhere. The flakes aren't very big and are mainly across her back. She isn't scratching and it doesn't seem to be bothering her but it does look unsightly as she's black. Any suggestions? A s...

Puppy love

I am currently looking after my stepdaughter's dog, Patch while she moves house. She's a lovely little girl and no trouble at all. However, because Georgia is not used to dogs and Patch doesn't live with a cat, I've been trying to keep them separate and making sure Georgia is the one sleeping on the...

I'll leave everything to OH and he leaves everything to me. But if we pop-off together, we are lucky enough to have relatives on both sides who are kitty people (don't worry Jude it's not all down to you   )

That's ok Sue I don't mind being a mad old cat lady.

Re: Going away and leaving your cat.

For the past two years Georgie has gone to a local cattery where she's made a huge fuss of. I booked her in again this year for June and when I mentioned her name the owner said, " oh, sweet Georgie Brown, I remember her she loves to have her tummy tickled doesn't she". In fact when we've ...

What is it with small dark places. Georgia will get into anything. Alarmingly I found her curled up in my hand luggage bag last year as I was preparing to go and visit my sister in Ireland. " Do you have anything to declare madam"!!!

Just a little smile

I have just gained a new respect for the prophet Muhammad. I was watching a programme on my kindle tonight about the origins of Islam. In it was a little snippet about cats and legends about them in Arab culture. Apparently, Muhammad cut the long sleeve his garment off because he didn't want to dist...

Hi Aquila, firstly I'm very sorry your relationship hasn't worked out, I hope you are ok. Is your ex partner looking after the cats now? Are they happy to do so? If they are, although your cats will probably wonder where you are, because they are with a person they know and like, it will probably be...
