Crated, I think. I never had to. I would think putting someone who are ment to be free, it would be a mind destroyer.

litter

Every time I see that Blue Buffalo commersal about their walnut shell litter, it drives me further away from any of their food too.
Are not cats allergic to nut shells? Or am I wrong? If I am remembering correctly... Then they are not in their field for the animals! You think?

Re: WILL THEY EVER BE FRIENDS

I brought home manys cats...there are always one that don't like it more than the rest. Time will be the factor. And it's up to them. Just be reassuring to the older one, while give a boost of love to the scared little one.

Re: Little Fluffy has gone to sleep

'Fluffington Manor' is a lovely image! I'm glad you're still popping in here, Carol, and it means I still get to see your avatar pic of Mme Fluffy. That pic still makes me smile, and the way she has her little white paws so firmly planted in exactly the same way that my Grumpy Nellie does. I shall ...

Re: Little Fluffy has gone to sleep

You can't let guilt over come you. I know it will, but try to forgive yourself. Not that you did anything wrong, but because you feel you did. The transition into the unknown is something we can't see until its our turn... Peace is there. Comfort. She will miss you as much as you her. Cats really do...

If you can find a farmer or hunter...cats love animal insides. Venison is good. I couldn't face stuff like that. You are braver than me.

Re: Trying to tempt Fluffy to eat

When Willie goes on hunger strikes.. I give him Temption treats. Until he feels better. Usually the next day. Meuzette made me serve kitten food around here. May not be the same for Fluffy tho. I serve whatever they like no matter if it is viewed odd or wrong by others. Cat rules here. I sure do hop...

I answered this in a rush. So sorry if I repeating something someone already said. What I tempted Meuzette with is. Baby food. She liked chicken, beef and turkey. I don't know if you guys have can salmon, but she use to drink the liquid it is stored in(that was some of her bad days) I also got can c...

I am not saying everyday....just there is hope if you are facing death. He made it, but not everyone will. There are many variables. Allergic reaction. I haven't had to medicate any of my cats since. That was four years ago and it was just for a few weeks. I didn't have any option in my case. Maybe ...

Re: cat colds- harpies

I could understand the wanting to put fluids in the limp kitten. But that is only a reaction move not a preventive move. I was after curing the cat. Did you know cats won't eat if they can't smell. You can't breathe with a stuffy nose. I almost lost Peanut the first month. Once I got my wits about m...

That is one we all know....the loss of a loved one. The empty feeling that you will never feel it again.
Not in the same way. For that is your lost ones gift to you. But you find all different kinds of angels in your life walk. We all have plenty to learn yet. Jill

cat colds- harpies

When I first adopted my 4 month old kitten from a shelter four years ago. He almost died. I took the innovative to strike out on my own rather relaying on the dim wit of a vet I was dealing with. I bought fish antibiotics for his fever. I put it in his water. Not so much that he would taste it. Got ...
