Re: my kitty sings throughout the night! i cant sleep!
We allow our four free access to the bedroom. Our two boys usually sleep on the bed. They tend to come and go overnight, but you get used to it to be honest. Probably less disruptive to a night's sleep than singing!

Oh no, I am so very sorry to hear this, but it does sound like you are doing absolutely the right thing. I have found it difficult to post replies to this story because it reminds me of losing my precious girl, Luna three years ago. Every day is an emotional roller coaster. You know what is best for...

  :D I can picture it now  When Squeak was still a farm cat she caught, killed and brought a weasel home - I must admit, I had very mixed emotions on that one - pride, shock, horror but a real honour to be able to have a close look at such a beautiful animal. I did not feel it appropr...

Re: Struggling to pill Kylie with Metronidazole
Really sorry about Kylie Mark. We tend to do the 'down the hatch' method. When we were giving Luna oral meds as part of the chemo protocol we did it together to make sure. They were pretty nasty stuff. Hubby got a tiny bit in his hand once, and said he felt a slight tingle, so we got very good at ge...

Re: BARNEYS ILL WITH BLADDER PROBLE YET AGAIN.....SO ANNOYED
That is very annoying isn't it Julie? We are like Sarah, we only deal with a vet called Lisa, who specialises with cats. We came across her when Luna was poorly, because she is qualified to administer chemo. She is also open to alternative therapies. I always feel that any decisions are two-way, and...

Hi Ziggy
I have absolutely nothing useful to say, other than I can feel your distress and concern.
Hope others on here with more experience can guide you and your girl is on the mend soon.
Sounds like she is a fighter so that helps xx

Re: Trying to tempt Fluffy to eat
I am glad Fluff is a bit brighter, but sorry that her appetite hasn't picked up. I would also be tempted to visit a butcher - I am not a meat eater myself, but was a regular at our local butchers getting stuff for Luna. Take care not to give Fluff too much at once though. Liver is very rich. Hopeful...

Re: Trying to tempt Fluffy to eat
Hi Carol If Luna didn't eat cat food within half an hour or so we would work through other things! Sometimes she would get excited at the food ritual (getting bowls ready etc) but didn't come to more than a few mouthfuls. We would repeat a shortened version of the feeding rituals just for her at sta...

Re: My Cat Bites me....
They are both handsome boys :) I spoil my four something rotten! I think what I am suggesting is only reward when his behaviour has been something you want him to do. For example, if he bites you, I would gently push him away and then ignore him. Others may have suggestions too. Keep us posted how y...

Hi Leanne Welcome to CC. Gosh, what a terrible start in life your boy has had :o It certainly does sound like he's seeing you as his mummy, and trying to get attention. I haven't and experience of this, but his real mummy would have started pushing him away when he was old enough. I would be tempted...

Hi Carol Hope your little girl is feeling a little better today. When Luna was poorly, we tried all sorts of things.
