Re: Our user names - and why?

Mine comes from the fact I am Welsh living in sunny West Wales with my gang of furbabes! The old forum was the first forum I ever posted on and was a bit worried about posting my real name......I remember getting a reply to my first question very quickly. It was a bit spooky really at the time! When...

Re: Anyone tried PAH catnip bubbles?

Ours had PAH catnip bubbles when they were kittens and loved them!

I grow catnip. The girls eat it, and the boys do the drooly roly over it thing! Henry in particular is a nip monster!

Re: anyone with experience of Siamese?

Is there a regular route he takes which you could change - eg temporarily close off an opening.

Even slightly changing the line of one of the beds in our enclosed garden confuses Tips. Walking into closed doors was what first made us think she had sight problems

Re: anyone with experience of Siamese?

Hi Kay I have absolutely no experience of Siamese cats, but you may recall that one of my cats is totally blind. She does remarkably well, and friends often argue that she must be able to see something. The main signs are that she sometimes runs into things (eg if she is spooked or excited). We some...

Re: Thought I Should Probably Introduce Myself...

Hello and welcome! What beautiful cats you have and well done on the fostering. Can I just add one more comment about the collar. It doesn't really matter that your kitties are indoor only. They can still get their collars caught on something - cats do tend to climb and squeeze into tight spaces! No...

Re: loss, how to cope?

I am sorry for your loss.

I lost Anna to the road when she was 20 months old.

She was the most gentle loving girl possible.

For all the fur babes I have lost, I have framed my favourite photo in a special frame where i can see it.

RIP Rabbit, play hard at the Bridge x

Re: Question For All Cat Lovers.

The fact the person is" selling" makes me wonder the motive. And a three figure sum at that. I would want my cat to go to a genuine cat lover, preferably someone I knew. And I wouldn't think of taking money as long as it was going to a good home. But everyone different I suppose.[quote][/q...

Re: BARNEYS CYSTITIS - NEVER ENDING WORRYINGPROBLEM - WHAT N

Oh Julie, I am so glad Barney is feeling a bit better today! I think cats definitely pick up on stress. Interestingly, my lot seem to favour pooing outside (We have a bit of a mole problem - the cats use the mole hills as ready made litter trays! At least I know where to look before getting the mowe...

Sorry Julie

Really feel your pain and frustration

Personally, I would try another vet.

We are lucky that our vet specialises with cats and if she doesn't know the answer we know that she would find it for us.

Re: Kylie has decided to stay outside.

They tend to eventually work it out. Tips spends most of the day upstairs in 'her' bedroom. When she is downstairs or in the garden, she gives Squeak a hard time. She just about tolerates Henry and Grey, but just simply cannot work it out with Squeak. That's just the way it is. Her mum, Luna, was th...

I have a large garden. The cats have access to everything other than the veg patch. The reason bring that they dig up seeds/seedlings!
