Re: curious cats
Hello Bron my Mayday LOVED rockmelon. When I she was about 2 I used to put her & Crystal (my Himalyan/Siamese who I had pts at 22 due to ill health) in my car & drop them off at mum's while I did my shopping. One Saturday on arriving home mum said to me"I don't know what's wrong with th...

Re: Feeling depressed over my cats behaviour and need help
Hi Deatstar I'm no expert nor have I experienced this behaviour but could it be anxiety related & perhaps talk to your vet to try some calming medication. One of the vet nursers where I volunteer has a rag doll who suffered regularly with cystitis - Chloe the cat really doesn't like women & ...

Re: Lost my beautiful angel Binky Christmas Day
Hi Anna I definitely think Blinkey's given you a sign that she's okay & loves you. Might sound a bit morbid but every night I sleep with Mayday in her little box. It gives me comfort when I wake up during the night that she's with me & I say good morning to her. I wish I had received such a ...

Re: Cat skin ailment - help needed!
Hi Catfella if Kiki has a skin ailment it may be a worthwhile for a vet to take a skin scraping & examine under a microscope for what's causing the irritation. Is she an outside cat it may be something in the garden or a food allergy. People may have other ideas. Vivian

Hi Kate & Galyna welcome. Nice to read everyone's posts. My Mayday left me in November. I've another girl Elsa who I was asked to foster thru Little Paws Kitten Rescue in 2011. She had either been lost or abandoned in the floods we had that year & was very depressed. She's about 10 maybe 11 ...

Hi Anna thinking of you & can relate to what you're feeling. Mayday like your gorgeous Blinky was my child & I too don't like my job. I go back on Thu. People are going to expect me to have come to terms with her loss - when one lives on their own it's difficult to put on that brave face. Ar...

Didi he's very handsome. I too took final photos of my darling girl curled up on the lounge beside me. Be prepared for waves of absolute grief & cry as much as you like - don't repress your feelings. You will be well & truely supported here as you deal with emotions. Take care. Vivian
