Re: What does this behaviour signify?
Ah, thanks, that's good to know! I always assumed he was happy and content when he was doing that, but then I was reading people saying how cats can hide their feelings when they're unhappy, and so I started to get a little paranoid, so it's good to know that's the sign of a happy cat! I actually fi...

What does this behaviour signify?
Hello, I'd be grateful if someone could let me know what this behaviour signifies, as I have read about bunting, but this seems different? Sometimes TC jumps on the worktop, and when I stroke him near his head, he pushes his backside up in the air, takes his head really low, and basically presses ag...

Re: Cat not sleeping much
Unfortunately I do have a nature where I can worry a lot about things. At the end of the day, I will probably be moving abroad for work in a few months, and I will probably never see him again. That makes me really sad, but that's just the way it goes. I just want to make sure he has a good life ahe...

Re: Cat not sleeping much
Thanks Lily. I worry because I was reading about cats who can die suddenly from heart failure, and if he isn't sleeping as much as he should and is stressed out a lot, it might take him to his grave early, and that would make me very sad, especially as he has spent his whole life in a small flat, an...

Cat not sleeping much
Hello, I read cats should sleep between 15-20 hours a day. But TC never sleeps nowhere near that much. In fact, I would go as far as saying he sleeps between 6-10 hours a day and never more. I often feel he sleeps so less because he is never fully comfortable with me in the home, so that's why he is...

Re: Is it wrong to feed someone else's cat?
Thanks, I might get the laser pen to keep him busy because he really does get bored when my landlady isn't around.

Re: Is it wrong to feed someone else's cat?
Thanks for the replies. He eats a 85g tin of wet food a day, and he has his dry food all the time, so he is definitely not being starved, and my landlady is looking after him well. I think he wants to eat more because he might be bored? We live in a small one bedroom flat, he is a house-cat, he neve...

Is it wrong to feed someone else's cat?
Hello, I would like an opinion please ... I love cats, but can't have my own as I travel a lot for work, and it won't be fair on the cat to move it around the country, or when I am working abroad, to leave it in a cattery. Therefore, when I was looking to rent a place last summer, I was looking for ...

Re: Cat won't eat the treats
Oh dear! Maybe I'll just have to hold back the fish treats for a while, although I hate doing that as he just goes crazy about them!

Cat won't eat the treats
Hello, As my landlady works shifts, I am often alone with her cat, and her cat then starts meowing for food. So I started getting him some treats, there are some chicken treats and some ocean fish treats. He always likes the chicken treats but absolutely adores the ocean fish treats. So I will usual...

Thanks guys - oh, after reading about the bite Mark suffered, I feel like a right wimp worrying about just some saliva dripping on a minor cut!

Ah, well it is good to know other cats that are happy also don't go so often, I was getting worried TC might be in discomfort because he couldn't go more often.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Cat saliva in cut?
Hello. This mind sound like a really silly question, but ... if a cat's saliva enters a minor (not deep) cut in your body, is there any danger? I was feeding TC some treats, I put them in my hand and he eats them from there, and he was salivating and I forgot I had a cut, and the saliva went in ther...

How often should a cat poo?
I was reading some people saying their cats go 2-3 times a day?
TC only goes once a day, sometimes he doesn't go for 28-30 hours. It always bothers me when he doesn't as he still wants treats but I worry that he will feel bloated and uncomfortable.

Is it disrespectful?
The other day someone I know was sitting watching TV, and her cat was on the floor, and she started rubbing the cat with the sole of her feet. It just looked weird to me and it looked a little "disrespectful" to me - is it, or am I just being fussy?!

Re: Cheyenne Returns
I am not a cat owner, just a cat lover, so it is probably not appropriate for me to give my opinion, but I will anyway! If that was my cat, I'd just let her be, if she likes the great outdoors and doesn't want to come back, then she is happy, so let it be. At the same time, I completely understand y...

Re: Cat is sneezing today
Ah, yes, my landlady and I certainly do go outside! Well, it is good to know that I don't have anything to worry about at the moment. He's a great cat and I love him dearly. He's a very scared cat and ever since I moved in, he's been really frightened of me, and that saddens me, as I just want him t...

Re: Cat is sneezing today
Many thanks for the replies - it is good to see there exist forums with the primary focus of helping people with issues with their cats. I joined another forum before this one, and when I stated there was a lot of bureaucracy before you are allowed to post, I got banned. Sad. The cat is my landlady'...

Cat is sneezing today
Hi All, This is a post about my landlady's cat. He is 6 years old, a ginger domestic cat, and I have been living here for a year and love him dearly. Today I came into the room, and he was sitting on the keyboard of my laptop! As I came to remove him, he sneezed three times. Then a few hours later, ...
