Re: Every single time I say something to a vet about my cats I end up being right (rant)

Hi Joe TC, the boy cat I'm fostering, was very lethargic a week after he was neutered & not eating. I took his temp 40.15 text president of Little Paws letting her know & my plan of attack. Put him up on bed with me & checked 5am next morning 40:21. Rushed him first thing to the vet that...

Re: My 3 legged cat

My Mayday when she had her hind leg amputated used to 'flip' until she gained her balance. She too used to try & scratch her ear with the missing leg. She soon gained balance with her tail as a rudder perhaps that's the issue if your darling has lost their tail. Animals cope so much better than ...

Re: Does it get any easier?

Wanda I'm sure you & Molly will be great for each other. And I'm rather fond of Torties as you know. I've adopted Jezebel who is still under the bed after 5 weeks but does come out late afternoon early evening so we do a bit of bonding then. I'm also fostering 2 who were surrendered. The little ...

Re: Very nervous rescue kittens

Seasoned carers such as Lillynmitz, Crewella, Bobbysgirl & others give great advice. Jezebell's a scaredy cat but does come out from under the bed for me to talk & stroke her. I've also taken on fostering 2 more as Little Paws were full. They were surrendered as people were moving & coul...

Hi Meriad Jezebel was in a cage with another cat Ninja & Napples the Main Coon in Deb's house with Bengals & other cats. She just took to Napples. I've put her back in the bathroom & just got up to make a cuppa & heard her meowing. So she obviously wants company. I'll go & see he...

Jezebel Gingivitis & hiding

Hi Deb from Little Paws visited Sat & Jezebel came straight out when she heard her voice. Deb checked mouth & bit of gingivitis. Jeze did get out from under the bed yesterday morning & I stroked & spoke to her but was soon under the bed. Deb gave me Vibavet paste yesterday. Issue - I...

Hi Crewella 2 weeks today. I've asked Deb from Little Paws to visit & do some cat whispering. I've an appointment with the vet I volunteer for on Monday but don't think it's going to happen. Don't want to scare her by forcibly catching her to put in a cage for the visit. And yes I'm probably hav...
