Re: FIV cat wanted - Scotland
Hi there, I'm also from Scotland looking for an fiv pos cat. I found it pleasantly strange that there seem to be so few (in scotland anyway) if you find a place that possibly have a few could you pass me on some details. Thanks and good luck. Good on you too for caring for them so well

Re: Suggestions gratefully received re getting urine sample
It's brilliant stuff, my vets were giving out free samples for a while last year but can't remember the make but as I said u can find it on line now. The only thing mine had success with. Probably took ten samples in about seven months, became something of an expert wee catcher (glad to be useful at...

Re: Suggestions gratefully received re getting urine sample
Hi, I have had to take lots of samples to vets for both my cats on a regular basis. Tried everything at first but finally found a very easy way for my 2 as one of them would not use the little bags of litter the vets gave us (white plastic looking balls) anyway I started using the hydrophobic sand a...

Re: Our Boy
Oh Leo's mum so sorry for your loss, I think most of us on here have felt the same at some point. Cats are the greatest creatures and the greatest company and totally become one of the family. When they go they leave a big cat shaped hole in our hearts. It's like any loss, you grieve. It takes time ...

Hi my wee fiv boy has been on antibiotic capsules for 2 days . Today he was sick and brought up all his food 2 and a half hours after taking his capsule. My vets is now closed and wondered if thus would have been digested so quickly. More worrying as yesterday I put in his food but he only ate a lit...

Hi I agree and would take her to vets asap. Your cat is telling you something is wrong, even if it is minor you will have done the right thing. My cats hate the vets but it would be the first port of call just in case

Re: Elderly Cat Advice
I personally think, unless the vet tells you he is in a lot of pain that can't be controlled then just love him old age is a natural part of life. My sonny is only 13 but stopped being able to get up on our bed etc years ago due to a spine problem which we treat with acupuncture which helps. Occasio...
