I would go for a older cat for two main reasons. The first is that a kitten might be to livley for your cats especially as you say they are lazy. They are based in norhampton but adopt anywhere.
i have adopted 3 cats from them with no problems and now occasionally foster for them.

You might be better posting this on the FIV rehoming section. Also if you ask on the FIV section im sure someone might be able to point you in the direction of a good rescue.
