Welcome to CC.
Fiona must be feeling so uncomfortable, I agree that you should take her to the vets as soon as possible.
Please let us know how you get on.

Welcome to CC. Congratulations on your pregnancy, I think it is extremely unlikely the problem would affect you or the baby. Sorry but I do have to agree with Diana that the wisest thing to do would be to consult the vet to diagnose the problem. Cats are very good at hiding pain and contrary to popu...

Try using a spirit, whisky, rum, brandy or gin, if that is too painful surgical spirit.

Other reasons for getting the little one spayed ASAP is each time she comes into season it increases her chances of getting mammary cancer and from a very early age she was and is at risk of getting pyometra a life threatening infection.

Re: Should a one eyed cat be kept indoors?
It has to be your choice I personally would never let one out as I feel I am the adult and the little ones don’t know the dangers out there if they want to go out. I was in rescue for over 20 years and we always homed such cats as indoor only unless of course there was a cat safe garden. Some people...

I would suggest you also spray the home with something like Staykill or Indorex usually much cheaper from online pharmacies e.g VetUK.

Re: get water into your cat
To be honest if little ones don't seem to much drink water, I would not worry too much if they are having lots of wet food, if you look on the tins at the contents you will notice that many brands have a very large water content, some over 80%.

Re: Question about spot-on flea treatment.
I would suggest you ring your vet for advice when to apply another treatment, mixing different brands can be dangerous as indeed would be to apply the same treatment too soon.

Welcome to CC.
Your best bet would be to contact the vet now, especially as this holiday weekend appointments may be limited. Perhaps it is possible for the vet to give a long term antibiotic injection. Or at least the vet is the best person allay your fears

Having been in rescue for over 20 years unless a bit of ovarian tissue has been left inside, alternatively it is uncommon but females have been found to have 2 uterus, I have never heard of a cat with season like symptoms once spayed. You are very wise to get another vet opinion and suggest you keep...
