Ah that's a shame :( Hopefully someone will work it out soon and start sending the Jelly one seperately.

Re: At last - we have stocks of Lidl premium food in Jelly

I don't suppose Lidl delivers still huh? :(

Have you considered asking the manager to set you up with a standing order? I'm only speaking on experience because I worked there as a teen, but they used to be so good to their regular customers at my branch.

Re: Here we go again ,,,,

No problem Jan and Julie! Seeing as I'm going anyway I'm proud to help out! I'll arrive on Wednesday but I won't get a car until Friday. I'll do some research beforehand and find out if it's cheaper to buy online or in stores. Once I find out what quantities I can get and different types they sell I...

Re: Here we go again ,,,,

Hey there Jan, I know from your previous posts that you take WONDERFUL care of Blackie, and to be honest I'm sorry that you have to put yourself through such stress with him. I'm sure he knows it too. Don't blame yourself for this. Blackie is obviously a hard cat to have and you're a great person to...

Re: Advice needed on sticking my nose in

Haha! Well thankyou very much! I think I was of that era as a teen when Quizzes became super popular both online and in Teen mags, so I think it's bled into my subconcious. I would like to point out that I put a lot of my own opinion into this, so a lot of it is probably wrong in terms of ...

Re: Advice needed on sticking my nose in

I evaluated your quiz Cussypat ;) 1 c - Wow, you sure have your life mapped out! I wish I was this organised! 3 points 2 a (but I only play with SOME.... Most are far too busy playing outside themselves, although they all LOOOOVE their evening walks around the garden!) - Sweet! Your cat is going to ...

Re: Tales of the unexpected cat...

I had a similar experience as a child with my first rabbit. We were on holiday in the caravan for the weekend and on the Saturday night before we returned I had a horrible nightmare that giant cockroaches had invaded our home and my rabbit Mossy was trying to fend them off. We drove home pretty earl...

Re: Help with sudden vomiting and diarrhea

Thanks for the info guys :) I really appreciate it! Well it's just as hot here today. I don't think you'll envy the sunshine much after a few days of this weather Lilith  Our fan hasn't been off in days! I envy those that can afford air conditioning over here. Tbh I'm looking forward to America...

Re: can't cope with missing cat

I'm sorry to hear that Sammy. :( Cats sometimes take a little time to come back home if they get lost. I'm sure she's trying to make her way back to you. I would keep trying to phone around local shelters to see if she's been brought in. At hte moment all you can do is wait I'm afraid. If you give u...

Re: Help with sudden vomiting and diarrhea

Well, she's vomited twice again today. I can't figure it out. She also hissed at me when I petted her head, and my BF too when he petted her head. Other than that she's fine. The hissing made me sad though. She's never done that before. She doesn't seem to want any attention. It's pretty hot over he...

Re: Help with sudden vomiting and diarrhea

Thanks Lilith :) Your points really helped.

No vomiting today, though she's not really that hungry. I've been feeding her little and often as you suggested. Being a Sunday everything is closed so I've just been giving her her dry food.

Help with sudden vomiting and diarrhea

Hey everyone, I'm probably just being overly mum, but my cat has been having a problem since yesterday. She has vomited 3 times. Once last night, once this afternoon and once this evening. She NEVER vomits. I've had her since April and since then she's only vomited once when I gave her a late dinner...

Sorry for joining in the rant! Invitation accepted ;) I know what you mean Cussypat, for the longest time my sister and I really wanted a dog. Re: How much faith do you put into Cat help videos?

I'm glad to know I'm not in the minority for watching these :D I tend to take all these "self help" type shows with a pinch of salt. I think they're great for all people that have pet problems but as Cussypat said, no two cats are alike and their problems will vary according to their surro...

How much faith do you put into Cat help videos?

In my nightly roams (insomnia ftw) I've been watching a lot those animal planet type videos. Lately I've been watching "My cat from Hell" which is an American series. They seem to have a lot of good points but I do wonder how much you can trust these shows? I've seen some problems that I'v...

Hey Nicyorke, It's not morbid at all. It's hard when you lose someone close to you and you want to remember them. One of the guys here had a custom photo frame with their cats ashes so they'd have them close when the football is on as their cat would always be on the sofa with them. It's natural to ...

Re: Electric/Hybrid cars and cats

We've had similar problems over here with Hybrid Taxis. They're so quiet you don't hear them in the less populated areas. We've even had problems with people that don't look before they cross. I suppose it's something we'll have to get used to as we go more Eco friendly.

Sounds to me like Pugwash needs to be deemed as an Admiral right away! :D Though I am amazed you taught him how to not steal your food. I've have to resort to feather duster or just shutting ours out of the room if there's something particularly tasty on our plates (Funnily enough she never jumps up...

Re: Recycling old toys

Actually now I've had a chance to think, I believe the reason people in the UK can't go skipping anymore is due to a law that basically meant if you get ill/hurt yourself on something you took then you can claim against the place you took it. When I worked in food retail in the UK they were always d...

As for recycled toys, Grace is curled up in a cardboard box at the moment, right alongside a purpose-made cat basket. Ain't that typical of cats? Recycling old toys

Hey there guys, In Spain it's popular to recycle your old things by leaving them next to the large bins so you don't have to pay to get them carted off to the dump. I'm talking anything, from wood, to sofas, to microwaves. It's become quite an industry with people taking stuff others don't want and ...

Hey Amy!

Nothing to worry about! As Mark said it's a carpal pad. I was a bit freaked out too when I got my first white cat as I've always had dark haired cats in the family.
