Re: Is this an impacted or infected anal gland? Advice needed.

Hi, fully agree if you see any abnormalities on your cat you take them to the vet straight away. Hopefully a blocked gland and nothing more serious but get it checked out. Please let us know the outcome and good luck to the wee soul x

Re: Jilly's pride and joy

I forgot about that. He was the most handsome cat on the block before that. The vet said it would add character, its funny looking back i was so upset about that ear. It happened one day, first time ever he took himself off and hid, behind our standard lamp. OH texted me and told me ear was a bit sw...

Thanks so much, they were Bro and sis from same litter. Cher passed in April and I think a wee bit of sonny died then too. They fought at times over that donut bed but the loser would squirm their way in Eventually and they would curl up. Thing is for months sonny would not go near that bed, after a...

Re: Advise on catching my cat

Your vets should have good trap which you could set up in summer house maybe cover with one of his blankets? Then all they need t do is keep an eye on it and contact you when he is trapped. Or stray was found over 10 miles away but vet pyt out a few traps near where he ran off from and checked every...

Re: Advise on catching my cat

Hi I agree with others as this is very similar to a situition I found myself in. We rescued a local stray as he was in a dreadful state and nicknamed locally as scabby cat. Anyway vet checked, neutered and my neighbour gave him a forever home. He was a scratcher a nd biter so it was up to me to take...
