Re: Online shopping for kittie supplies

Thanks everyone Placed an order yesterday. As you say, prices very good. Mark, I have been using the Sanicat litter in Tips' tray for a few week. I have bitten the bullet and gone for more of that as well. The next thing for me, living in a rural area and working 4 days a week, is reliable delivery....

Online shopping for kittie supplies

Hi everyone I have decided to save some effort of going to PAH once a month for the mammoth kittie food and litter shop!! I don't particularly like the initial effort of Internet shopping though. Can anyone recommend good sites for choice and value?? On the whole, we use AGAIL wet, Hills dry, Royal ...

I am so sorry to hear the news. Buster always seems to have been around for as long as I was with this, and the old forum.

You gave him a good life and a dignified end.

RIP Buster

Oooohhhhh Okey dokey!! The fourth out of five children from S.E Wales. Went to the local Comp (not in the least bit posh!!). Passed maths 'O' level but failed Russian (never quite understood why we did Russian in school but everyone fancied the teacher!!) Used to sing - used to be told I was quite g...

Re: Kitty scales

Thanks Mark. How do you find the results compare with the scales at the vets? I guess that after the initial weighing it's just relative - an increase or decrease and by how much. I am going to get one for ease and peace of mind

Kitty scales

I am a tad obsessed about cats' weight after losing our darling Luna to lymphoma. Her babies Henry and Tips have lost a bit of weight - picked up at their annual booster/check ups. I think it would be a good idea to keep a bit of an eye on them but don't really want to take them to the vets because ...

I know there is nothing I can say which will make things any easier, but the dear boy knew love and comfort in his final months. You couldn't have done any more for him.

Re: Cat=Human names

Well, the only one of mine with a 'human' name is Henry. Tips/Tipsy is named after her white ear tips Squeak after her little squeaky meow Grey AKA Mr G was originally just called the grey cat when he was still living on the farm down the road and we never really changed it. Previous cats have been ...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have lost two cats to the road. The first was the first cat of my own. I had got her when I was a student and she had been with me for 14 years. I was inconsolable beyond words, and we did not get another cat for 7 years because we could not bear the pain again....

Seeing the weight loss in figures is quite alarming isn't it?? What would her ideal weight be around for her size and age?

Henry gets very jealous of the others and is particularly close to me. I recon he loves me!! Tips is more restrained, but she loves us both in her special way. The more interaction she gets, the more responsive she gets. Squeak is truly trusting of us, and Mr G loves everyone!! So, yes, the simple a...

Re: Missing whiskers

When our lot were babies Henry hardly ever had whiskers. We always assumed it was because he broke them playing. We were a bit embarrassed when we took him to,the vets incase they thought we had been mistreating him!!

They grew back and he has a fine set now!

Harry is a handsome boy by the way :D
