Re: Help!
Hello and welcome I would certainly get her to a vet as soon as possible. Have you checked for a microchip to trace her owners? A vet will also be able to advise whether she is pregnant and how far gone. Cats do cope well with aborting kittens and neutering - but a vet can advise on this. If the vet...

Re: Fred's Greebo ...... or Greebo's fred ......
Great news Helen!
Mr G wasn't quite as appreciative when I got him home after his op!
He skulked away into the garage and ignored me for at least 6 hours!
It sounds like you have been forgiven and he realises that you are looking out for him <3 x

Oh no, this was not the news we were all waiting for - poor Fred/Greebo (and you too Helen )
It's such a shame for anything to set him back, even a fraction, but I appreciate that you have no choice. He needs to get sorted, poor boy xx

It's a good sign that there's no physical confrontation though!

Re: Advice Needed - Stray Cat and Kittens in my shed!
Well done Terry! I found that I have had more success with small independents - I would ask local vets if they know of any. For example, we have Moggies in Need who took in a farm vat and kittens. Mum neutered (we took back) and theynrehomed kittens. They have links with local vets Mum is likely to ...

Re: HORRIBLE CATS!!!!!!
I must admit I would rather them bring in dead things. I am a bit squeamish amour 'finishing them off' but as you say, it's normally the right thing to do
I have been known to play with one of the cats with a dead mouse - sounds grim, but the cats like it

Re: Fred's Grebo ...... or Grebo's fred ......
Yay Well done Fred (and Helen  ) I can't remember what he weighed at the start?) Great news his eyes are better and he's 'done'. Feral boys seem to have teeth problems. My Mr G only has two canines left now. Not that his lack of teeth stop him by and large! Will Fred (Grebo) eventually be rehom...

Mr G (who is more or less toothless!) woke hubby in the small hours playing with a dead vole. No doubt a pressie brought in by one of the others!!

I agree.
Pregnancy is hard work for a girl. Georgie is also getting to be middle aged now.
There are plenty of cats and kittens looking for a home!

Re: Huge dental, sneezing, vetergesic and calicivirus
My cat Grey is the same. He had all but his top canines removed last year. He did amazingly well. His gums were fine by the time he went for post op check up. Like Julia, we kept him on meds for about a week after. He also had a small growth removed from his nose at the same time, which he rubbed on...

Hi there I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We lost our girl Luna to lymphoma three years ago. It is a truly awful condition. We had a little bit of notice and were able to try chemo, but it gave us a few weeks extra with her. These little furry beings make such a big part of our lives don't they??...

Hi Sue We have the same problem with Henry and Mr G. Henry is generally a large cat, but at 7kg he is fat too! Mr G's weight is creeping up. Dread next check up! We don't leave any food down. It's made a bit more complicated by the fact that Tios is a grazer! We feed Mr G in the garage. We only let ...

What a terribly sad story  Rocky was a free spirit, and you gave him love. He wouldn't have wanted to have been confined in any way, and unfortunately, roads are a hazard to many cats. I am sure that he would have wanted a short, but free, loved and happy life than a long, miserable one. You to...

Hi Paul I am sorry to hear that you have lost your beloved Spider. It sounds like she has been a wonderful comfort to you since your mum passed away. It is totally normal to feel deep grief after loosing anyone or anything we love - cats included. She was a great age. You did really well with her. T...
