Re: Old cat REALLY hates the new puppy. Any help?
I am afraid your doing things quite wrong in my opinion you should be doing everything you can to keep the cats daily life and routine stable not banishing him to a cabin outside let him back in and always keep a physical barrier between puppy and cat such as a dog crate or use a child safety gate a...

Please be wary of fostering other kittens onto your cat as there maybe a health reason she lost her litter which she could pass onto any other kittens she feeds

You say in your post he needs catching, neutering and rehoming maybe that's why you've struggled to get help if you ask again and are willing to trap, neuter and release him again and look out for his welfare when he's returned you may have more luck and he will stop being a nuisance, many rescues s...

Re: Opinions on introducing a new cat
I think one of the main things to consider in your situation is what would you do if you got a new cat and it didn't work out, if you can't genuinely say you would give the cat back to the rescue or rehome it responsibly yourself I would leave well alone as you may end up with two unhappy cats who d...

It can work but bear in mind when a cat is spooked they can become very fear aggressive and may bite and scratch anyone who tries to touch them so unless your in an area safe enough for your cat to be loose in and near enough and well known by him that he would come home on his own if he did get loo...

Re: Rehoming older cat after two kittens died on quiet lane?
Country lane type roads are often death traps for cats they come out of the hedgerows straight into the path of a car there's no verge or pathway to allow the cat or driverr a chance to see each other and use judgment if you get another cat odds are you will loose it to the road/as a rescue if you w...

Just to add you can buy a small handheld liquidiser at many supermarkets and make your own liquid diet to syringe feed I found mine invaluable on several occasions you can also add a small amount of glucose powder to your home made liquid meals
